How long did you give it? Did you get back to the LBs you were lifting before? How did you feel?

That's the spirit, I train through my angina too.   That's why my gym bag always contains a bottle of amyl-nitrate - in case I find myself in sudden need of vasodilation...  ;)

Used to train with a steroid addict and rec user during weekend (coke whisky). He was "on" basically year round and love to party. He had a double heart attack 2 years ago. 1 year later he was back on training then back on juice.

Can u provide more detail on how it happened? Heartattack in gym? Or during a coke binge? How did he know for sure its a heart attack? And if 3 of them, how did each one happen?

Dumb me, I thought one had to have sexual relations with someone (other than themselves) which involves an exchange of bodily fluids in order to become infected with HIV. As for an unfortunate encounter with a serial killer, I am no more likely to experience this than anyone else. The likelihood of anyone being murdered is about 1 in 20,000....probably even less for me since I live in the "whitest city in the U.S.  ;D
However, I will give you that anything is possible. My suspicion is that I will die from old age....very old age based on my current health. Sweetheart.

The ones i know who had heart attacks never trained again. At least not weights. It depends on the severity of the damage on the heart.

If you could show your heart muscle on a bodybuilding stage or the beach bodybuilders would be doing cardio like crazy.  Instead their heart muscles are so weak they are exhausted walking on a treadmill.

And rot your gut. Ever hear about low dose aspirin? That's all most folks need to avoid having a stroke and there's far less chance that it will mess with your digestive system.

Most getbiggers would simply return to their set and class it as rest-pause training, man up.
