Refined sugars are the main cause of inflammation.

Try a low/no carb diet for a month.  Most of your aches and pains will be substantially decreased.

Refined sugars = toxic

correct, sugar wrecks the body.

sugar in moderation , like most food , is fine

correct, sugar wrecks the body.

It also causes yeast and an acidic environment which increases the likelihood of cancer.

How about just not eating processed foods.  Eating a normal diet consisting of whole foods with plenty of fruits and vegetables will probably make you feel the best. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and caffeine yada yada yada....nothing magical.

What's wrong with alcohol in moderation and caffeine?

Of course calories matter. If you are in a caloric surplus you will gain weight. A caloric deficit will result in weight lost. But that calorie, that particular macronutrient, reacts quite differently when ingested.

What's wrong with alcohol in moderation and caffeine?

Especially red wine or black coffee.

Both have supposed health benefits.

I don't drink either.

Black coffee has anti oxidants and keeps the brain sharp.

if you're eating a LOT of sugar every day

Without discussing dosage, these arguments get silly as everything is pretty much toxic in excessive amounts.

Although uncommon, it's possible to drink too much water. When your kidneys can't excrete the excess water, the sodium content of your blood is diluted (hyponatremia) — which can be life-threatening.

What do you mean by keeping the brain sharp?  Do you feel that you cant think clearly without caffeine?  If so, you may want to consider that you may be addicted to caffeine.

But research has shown that black coffee may have physical benefits.

Of course, not in excessive amounts.

this calorie is a calorie thing never made any sense to me, every food out there has a different breakdown of macros and the quality of those macros, calories in vs calories out would have the largest role in losing/gaining weight but surely the macro break up also plays a role in body composition and performance

If i eat out I rarely ever finish a meal, I can never stomach all the food.

Really? What do you weigh?I have recently come down from 255 to 225 again and my appetite is retarded.I allow myself to eat one huge meal on sundays and this past Sunday it was 2 racks of ribs, mashed potatoes,6 corn bread, mac and cheese, green beans, cucumber salad then my wife only ate half a rack so I ate her half a rack as well and her other let overs and I was still starving. As of now I'm dreaming of Sunday again.

You must have produced some epic bowl winders after that meal.

So I tested it finally. I went on a 8 week diet of eating fast food everyday consisting of;

Tim hortons egg and bacon wraps
Tim hortons chicken wraps
Bourben street grill veggies and chicken only
Mcdonalds chicken wraps
Protein bars
and some other not so typical foods.

I kept my calories around 1800-2000 everyday and I tracked calories everyday.

I put on 15-18 lbs of shitty ass weight and I look soft as shit now.

Just before this, I dieted for a vacaton for 8 weeks, and ate my typical diet foods

Chicken, brocolli, beans, oatmeal, Natural PB, brown rice etc, and got  in great shape.

Im sure everyone is different but for me, a calories is NOT a calorie!

True Adonis must be a genetic freak!

I was in rehab with True Adonis' cousin last November, said he was arrogant and a bully to everyone, especially those who didn't count calories

There are two different issues, nutritional value and body composition. The calories in/out rule typically refers to the latter. The whole idea of the calories not mattering came from fat fucks like Jimmy Moore who want to rationalize their pathetic lack of discipline.

I eat a normal western diet, it has no effect on my body composition if I eat chicken and rice all day instead.
only thing is eating chicken and rice doesn't let you eat the same amount of cals.

My body composition changes dependant on how many calories I eat

my food today
2 white toast with cheese and butter
4 oatibix with milk
1 vegetable Kiev and a cheese and pickle sandwich
smoked haddock en route with mashed potatoes with butter
bowl of frosted corn flakes.

I eat like that most days.

Im also 10% bf lean and in shape.

You said to avoid caffeine....i ask why and gave a proven benefit.  I could easily look up more, scientifically proven benefits, but want to know why you said to avoid it.
