Not all bullies are created equal. Many are badass's. Mike Tyson(one of the most honest guys there is) was an admitted bully. Many boxers and UFC fighters were bullies. Except now that they are real fighters, they like to re-write history and tells tales of how they were bullied and got into fighting because of it. Mostly BS. The UFC guy who did the show Bully Beatdown for MTV years back claimed he hated bullies and got into fighting because of being bullied. Jason Mayhem Miller was his name. Come to find out the guy was a bully all his life and people talk about him today starting fights with little guys in business meetings and clubs all over the place. Banned from the UFC for starting trouble everywhere he goes. The Diaz brothers even claimed to being bullied as kids. Look at them today. Fun fighters to watch but bully their way thru almost every aspect of their life...

I hate to admit this but I think the UFC is influencing people to just keep pounding on a guys face after they KO him.  UFC fighters always go in for extra brutal shots after their opponent is unconscious and defenseless.  The referees have to dive in and pull guys off of their opponent.  Now this shit is happening all the time in these "street fight" situations.  Regular morons are imitating what they see on tv.  Monkey see, monkey do.

I'm all for defending yourself if someone is attacking you or bullying you, but this shit is fucked up and cowardly.  Exercise some restraint.  When the fight is over, the fight is over.  Stop pretending you can't tell that the guy is KO'd.  You're lying.  Act like a man and not a fucking animal.

I think that's what you get when someone is genuinely angry (and possibly over time).  I don't think it has anything to do with UFC.  People were not stopping when the other person is down long, long before then.

Yes, a handful of angry nuts were doing it before the UFC, but now it's pervasive in our culture. 

There is no way to prove or disprove it but I believe that the UFC has glorified and normalized this type of behavior.
