i have had them all... they are all awesome - the brownies rock too

downfall of the cookies... not enough protein? but its a snack so i shouldnt worry too much. 300-400 cals per cookie tho

they really need to come out with a stevia (low sugar) option. the good things are these are plant based, and taste great. i prefer these over many "real" cookies. i forgot how good thr pumpkin one is!

I find it weird how their brownies have whey... Same with companies like kashii, half their products are vegan, half vegetarian, but they don't really point it out.

To answer the question though I don't really think these are good... Would rather just have a protein bar.

I'm like you in the sense that I don't trust these bastards with any nutritional claims. However, I spoke with a guy who bought a bunch of B-UP bars at a supp store I was working at a couple weekends ago, and it turns out he had type 2 and was taking metformin while working out and eating less to hopefully reverse the disease all-together. I asked him a bunch of questions about metformin itself, since he's the only person I know who takes it (other than people online), and asked him how these bars affect his blood glucose levels. He said he doesn't notice the spike in glucose at all, he said it might spike a little from the protein, but not to make him go hypoglycemic or warrant an insulin injection.
That kind of made me think that those bars can be trusted for the most part.

i love lenny and larry cookies. my favorite is the cocanut chocolate chip. i shopped around and found a good price on line. then sprouts coupons came in the mail, and they were 1 dollar each.
i made two separate trips to sprouts to buy the cookies, but both time they were sold out. so i got a rain check for the first time in my life. i went back a week later and bought 40 cookies, for 40 bucks

for me, I'm on metformin, I'm not sure why, my ac1 is 5.8 at 60. and my blood sugar never goes above 130 after eating.  (but my doctor seems to be preemptive, so I'm not going to argue with him) but i never eat sweets. no donuts, ice cream, candy. but when i must have something sweet,
i reach for a lenny/larry cookie. at least with the sugar, I'm getting 16 grams of protein. pretty good hit of protein for the amount of sugar.
