I like Mark Wahlberg. His comments about 911 where not the best. However I think he may have meant it another way. I think Mark was deeply angered about that day much like the rest of us. I remember watching it on tv just like all of you did as well. Some of you maybe where there in person when it went down, for that I am sorry. It was a fucked up day for sure. As a bystander watching, I was first concerned for my families safety, not knowing the extent of the Ttack and how much more may yet to come. I was then angered to the point I wanted to kill every one responsible. Now back to Mark, he probably felt the sAme way and, during the interview got worked up about it Nd he pictured himself on the plAne doing things we all wished we could do. He spoke without thinking the context it was going to be. I am sure he had no intention of disrespecting the brave men and others whom died on those planes that day.
I like what he says about Hollywood Actors, you guys should as well. I think Mark is a GetBigger ..........

Many sheeple do unfortunately, thats why the world is so fecked up. Cant think for themselves. Media is 90%+ liberal owned.

Mark Wahlberg: Celebrities need to shut up about politics
By Ryan Girdusky | November 30, 2016

During a luncheon to promote his new film Patriot’s Day, the actor was asked if he talked about politics. “No,” said the former rapper and that other celebrities shouldn’t either, reported the website Task and Purpose on Tuesday.

“A lot of celebrities did, do, and shouldn’t,” Wahlberg said to Task and Purpose, a website dedicated to veterans.

“You know, it just goes to show you that people aren’t listening to that anyway,”
Wahlberg continued. “They might buy your CD or watch your movie, but you don’t put food on their table. You don’t pay their bills. A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble. They’re pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family. Me, I’m very aware of the real world. I come from the real world, and I exist in the real world. And although I can navigate Hollywood and I love the business and the opportunities it’s afforded me, I also understand what it’s like not to have all that.”

I'm not a big Wahlberg fan, but this quote made me think more of him.   :)

100% he's right in this.

Election shows that nobody cares what the kooky primadonnas in Hollywood says. As if their opinions holds greater value than any others... Delusional fucks

He delusional. Most celebrities came from a normal life as much as he did. He's trying to make it sound like he knows what it's like to work and struggle but the guy was famous since he was in his teens. Maybe his parents know what that's like but he doesn't.

Most celebs don't live in the real world. They often live in their own liberal bubble. Their political views are far more to the left when compared to the average citizen. If the presidential election were decided by celebrities, then Hillary would have got 100 votes for ever 1 that Trump got. Their political views aren't even close to being representative of the US as a whole.
Wahlberg is clearly aware of this and has just pointed it out. Not sure why he is being criticized.

But he also said he is aware of the real world, and acknowledged his lifestyle, like I said him being rich and living in a mansion is irrelevant, he was implying celebrities shouldn't talk politics

U are old and senile and about to die anyways, so it doesn't matter

Sad news for you, I am nowhere near the end of my life. What's funny to me is how clueless you are. Enjoy the bubble in which you live.

At the age of 16 he was convicted as an adult and spent 45 days in prison.

Arrests and conviction:
At 16, Wahlberg approached a middle-aged Vietnamese man named Thanh Lam on the street, and using a large wooden stick, knocked him unconscious while calling him a "Vietnam fucking shit". That same day, Wahlberg also attacked a second Vietnamese man named Hoa "Johnny" Trinh, punching him in the face. According to court documents regarding these crimes, when Wahlberg was arrested later that night and returned to the scene of the first assault, he stated to police officers: "You don't have to let him identify me, I'll tell you now that's the guy who's [sic] head I split open." Investigators also noted that he "made numerous unsolicited racial statements about 'gooks' and 'slant-eyed gooks'."

For these crimes, Wahlberg was charged with attempted murder, pleaded guilty to assault, and was sentenced to two years in Suffolk County Deer Island House of Correction. He ultimately served only 45 days of his sentence, but carries a permanent felony record. In another incident, then 21-year-old Wahlberg fractured the jaw of a neighbor in an unprovoked attack. Commenting in 2006 on his past crimes, Wahlberg stated: "I did a lot of things that I regret, and I have certainly paid for my mistakes."

After prison, he decided to improve his behavior. Of this he has said,

As soon as I began that life of crime, there was always a voice in my head telling me I was going to end up in jail. Three of my brothers had done time. My sister went to prison so many times I lost count. Finally I was there, locked up with the kind of guys I'd always wanted to be like. Now I'd earned my stripes and I was just like them, and I realized it wasn't what I wanted at all. I'd ended up in the worst place I could possibly imagine and I never wanted to go back. First of all, I had to learn to stay on the straight and narrow.

Marky Mark definitely has a colorful history.

He's a Crypto. Plays the Boston/Irish/Catholic card but everyone in Hollywood knows what tribe he comes from...

Interesting. Are you suggesting that in order to be monetarily successful you must be a Jew at heart?

Haters going to hate, I don't think for one second he is trying to make out he's still in the same position as other people, he qualifies this in his statement, but don't let that interpretation :)  get in the way of a misinterpretation flame on, if their successful and wealthy hate them. :)

Sorry I did not make this clear from the start; I feel no hatred towards Mark. He's a successful and very likeable guy, whom I've actually had the pleasure of meeting. I'm just calling him on talking out his ass in this instance. I'd say the same to him in if I see him again.
