Yes there are hard core Maga types that worship Trump. Just like there were hardcore leftists who though Biden belonged on Mt Rushmore (actual quote).
But to hate one man, yet devote so much free time and energy to him is just weird.
Factor in so much of what is digested is just plain false and manipulative media, and it's even worse.
Trump fuels the media and the public both those for and opposed to him by self-promoting and saying something outrageous. This guarantees his name and image are plastered all over the media. President Trump's famous saying is actually about publicity: "Good publicity is preferable to bad, but from a bottom-line perspective, bad publicity is sometimes better than no publicity at all." He wrote this in his 1987 book, Trump: The Art of the Deal, meaning that getting people talking about you—even negatively—keeps you in the spotlight.
Trump is no dummy when it comes to self-promotion. Yes, the media and the public are responsible for Trump’s success with this. He neither wants nor needs folks like you defending him by speaking out about his negative media coverage.
