"While trump commits crimes,  Biden's economy is booming-

472,000 jobs added in January 348,000 in February 317,000 in March 294,000 in April 369,000 in May 498,000+ in June.
3.6% unemployment rate, down from trump's 6.7% in January 2021.
Average annual growth of 4.3% during the past two years as measured by GDP, with a 1.3% expansion registered in Q1 2023 alone. Trump never hit 3% annual GDP ONCE !!!"

The Republican Primaries are a waste of time and effort.

Just how many entitled voters believe: Mr Trump has done nothing wrong and should be supported in his legal battles;  oppose help to Ukraine; do not want  Social Security & Medicare reforms; dislike free trade; hate transgender people  and  like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Other than Mr Trump all the other candidates apart from perhaps the fat guy are variously but not exclusivly bush clones. rinos with out horns, mealy mouthed  flim flam floppers cowards unable/unwilling to challenge him openly

It's cool to see what you think had to happen actually happened. There was no way a guy of Trumps intellect was going to comprehend the normal briefings... it's just sad a man of that IQ level convinced enough people he was competent enough to do the job.

Interesting scenario.  It would be hilarious to watch play out.

"That defense has a big hole in it. Trump received a LOT of fact-based council when his ENTIRE sane legal team talked him off of multiple cliffs when Trump was ready to launch the insane plan with Jefferey Clark.  Giuliani, Powell and Eastman were outside lawyers Trump brought in. Government lawyers (Barr for one) told him there was no election fraud.  Trump took the advice he wanted to hear and ignored the advice he didn't want to hear."

It is almost as sad that Joe Biden was the only choice other than Trump. Would make that same choice again and again..

I don't know if anyone here is well versed on facts or not, sometimes I wonder, but yeah.. I'm personally not looking forward to 4 more years of Biden, but if it keeps Trump out of office, I will live with it.

I can only speak for myself, why I prefer Biden, and I have listed the reasons here on a few occasions. So far, nothing I've seen, read or heard has changed that.

I'll just leave this here to read at your convenience.

Education
Share of Democratic voters with no college experience has fallen sharply; much less change among the GOP
Around two-thirds of registered voters in the U.S. (65%) do not have a college degree, while 36% do. But the share of voters with a college degree has risen substantially since 1996, when 24% had one.

Voters who identify with the Democratic Party or lean toward it are much more likely than their Republican counterparts to have a college degree (41% vs. 30%). In 1996, the reverse was true: 27% of GOP voters had a college degree, compared with 22% of Democratic voters.

Maybe a 2 party system is the real problem?
or add in proportion representation?

There definitely has to be far better political systems.
Having 2 parties slagging each other off & refuting everything the other party
Says or does hardly seems a beneficial system for people or country.

I'm not sure what your trying to get at with the college degrees,
Many of the wealthiest men in the world haven’t a college degree & by what you're
Inferring it seems they All should have.

Fair question.. You inferred in a recent post you had questions about Bidens supporters IQ's. While there is no IQ table that I know of to review, there are some tables with breakdowns of various things about each candidates supporters. I personally don't care to do such a thing but you threw down the gauntlet and I looked at demographics that were available and I found that there was no information to support Bidens supporters had a lower intellect than Trump supporters and found the opposite. It's not even an argument I am comfortable making because IQ and intellect doesn't always equate to common sense and good judgement. But since you alleged it, I looked into it. I don't have a college degree, full discolsure, some college but I was not a fan of school and had no desire to continue it. I love to read, and that's what I focused on

Ok...The two party system.. There are a few youtube videos that explain why expanding the two party system won't work. I admit it has been 3 years or more since I watched them but they made sense. Berfore watching them I was in the "we need another party or two" camp. After watching those I understood they wouldn't matter. I would love other options, and it seems the likely answer, but in reality, probably won't change anything

Well the 2 party system sure isn't working very well is it
America is very bitterly divided - Perhaps a good civil war will sort it out
as politics sure as hell isn't.

And Proportional representation.?

Folks, any updates or is this still where we are at, which appears to be nowhere?

Key takeaways from Devon Archer's testimony about Hunter, Joe Biden
His House committee interview had both sides claiming he'd proven their points.

ByAlexandra Hutzler
August 1, 2023, 1:37 PM

Archer's attorney told ABC News "we are aware both sides are claiming victory" but said his client answered the questions "honestly and completely."

Democrats view: Hunter was selling an illusion.

Repupublican's view:  Archer told them Hunter Biden's value to Burisma centered on "the brand" associated with the Biden family...

Democrat's view: Archer testified "Hunter spoke to his father every day and approximately 20 times over the course of a 10-year relationship. Hunter may have put his father on the phone with any number of different people, and they never once spoke about any business dealings."

Republican's view: 'The testimony undercut Biden's repeated claims he "never discussed" his son's business ventures.'

Dem's: Goldman said Archer "was unaware, had no knowledge" of million dollars being paid to either Hunter Biden or Joe Biden.

R's: zeroed in on a confidential FBI informant's unverified claim that the Biden family once pressured a Ukrainian oligarch to pay them $10 million.

Democrats asserted Archer's testimony lacked the smoking gun evidence Republicans hoped he'd provide.

Comer and others on the committee argue it shows Biden "lied" about having zero involvement in Hunter Biden's business career.

Looks to me like it is still a ‘he said/she said’ situation. Damn, damn... let's get the actual testimony. I am tired of these politicians’ interpretations of what Archer testified to. I'm bored with each side claiming their take on this is proof the Bidens did, or they didn't... including all the premature comments from the Getbig peanut gallery.
