But that was still one charge. Here there were 34 so it begs the question whether the jurors considered each charge separately and took them minutes for each one or they just rounded everything as one charge. There could be many factors, political bias, fear of retaliation from several sides if they reached the "wrong" verdict, just wanting to go home and not stay there for more days.

Weren't 4 of the people on the jury lawyers?  I would thin that those details would have been fleshed out.  I wonder if there is any available full transcript of what was presented.  Or that maybe your contention was brought up by the defense and shown not to have any real impact on the question of his innocence.

I still am surprised.  Just because he went 72 years without a criminal record doesn't mean much in a specific instance.  In this case, the defense had opportunities in jury selection, evidence presentation, and case building.   The jury met for a day and a half and found him guilty on all 34 charges.  Unless something tangible beyond a CT, meme, knee-jerk saying, or cliche surfaces, I will stick with the verdict.

He is not serving time.   Maybe probation or some sort of modified house arrest.

I made it very clear that I did not see this happening. But, like other a few other folks on Getbig, you read into my posts what you want instead of what I actually write. Is this called selective reading? LOL! My guess is he will be fined, but from what I read the fine for first time offenders is very low... like pocket change, so who knows what will happen. Anyway, his conviction will be appealed, and this will likely let him off the hook. If Biden wins the election, he can pardon Trump. If Trump wins the election, he may be able to pardon himself depending on Supreme Court rulings.
