Vance put on a clinic tonight and showed what can happen when two adults were in the room.

He was articulate, clear, polite, respectful, and answered questions.

Walz was not a disaster, but had some bumps, and Vance was clearly superior.

I actually think Vance set the tone and took away some of Walz's initial nerves when he engaged him like a human being.

Either way, the whole "JD Vance is weird" Democratic talking point was completely destroyed tonight.

I agree with most of what you posted. However there are a couple questions JD Vance avoided answering. Two separate times he did not acknowledge that Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. When asked asked by the moderator whether he would challenge the election results this fall, even if the results are certified in every state, he skirted the answer.

Prosecutors allege that Trump and his allies "sought to create chaos" at polling places -- including one instance when a campaign employee encouraged a colleague to "make them riot" at an ongoing vote count in Detroit -- which the former president later used to support his claims of voter fraud.
