I treat B_B_C the same way I treat bhank, engage once in a while, not a serious conversation or person. Simply a troll looking for attention.

I am always for differing opinions and attempting discussion, but when posters just regurgitate memes or articles and don't offer any thoughts of their own, it's time for the ignore - B_B_C, rimjob, funk all fall into this category currently.

A lot of truth being written in this here post. Government employees don’t give a shit about the bottom line because it doesn’t affect their pay. Until now I suppose.

Apparently, you do not know what you are talking about. Government employees care greatly that the bottom line absolutely affects wages and benefits. They are reminded of this fact each time a new contract is negotiated.

I am a retired public employee with 30 years of employment with the same employer. In addition, I was our Chapter President (shop steward) for over twelve years and bargained multiple contracts with my employer.

Whenever there is a budget shortfall, there are layoffs. Reduced budgets have a negative impact on employee/employer contract renewal at the bargaining table. Budget shortfalls are management's excuse for little or no increases in salary, with the exception of administrators who somehow find ways to increase their own salaries, benefits and job security. Government employers operate no differently than large industry private employers.

Public employees’ salaries are often lower than in the private sector, although benefits may be better. Not every employee qualifies for benefits, for example part-time employees.

Stop...just stop. You forget that I coached at the HS level for almost 15 years then worked within the school outside of my coaching position for another two within that same school. Are you really making the comparison that printing money when you don't have any is the same as a federally funded school district? Hey, in order to keep our football and sports programs in general going, we had to not just negotiate how much our program would receive but we also had to raise funds to add to it...from the school who in turn received monies from the district. The comparison between the Federal government and a school district is an absurd comparison

You would think because he worked for a school district for 30 years he would have thought his response out better.

Mr.Trump’s “America first” policy is about peddling  America’s interests in exchange for foreign assistance in putting Trump first.

Which countries are assisting us here? And yes, it’s about damn time America comes first.

A cat always purrs for its own good

American foreign policy has always put America first. That’s what countries do (otherwise they are colonies)
Why did the United States do Lend-Lease with Britain before we entered World War II and finance  the Marshall Plan afterwards?
Why did we airlift supplies into West Berlin? Why did we spend trillions  on nuclear weapons that have never been used? Why do we police the global shipping lanes and ensure stability in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East?

Because these actions further our interests. They make America safer and wealthier. They stop /slow the rise of rival powers.
They put America first.

'Ukrainian lawmakers lambasted Zelensky for engaging in  “absolute idiocy” at the White House.

“Zelensky has put millions of people at risk, and it’s madness,” said Oleksiy Goncharenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada parliament in Kyiv.

Indeed, several ranking officials, including NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Polish Defence Secretary Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, and longtime Zelensky defender Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), all urged the Ukrainian president to repair his ruptured relationship with President Trump.

Why did we give $350 billion to Ukraine while trying to disarm our own law abiding citizens here. Why did we give $350 billion to Ukraine while our own disasters here got mere pittances. Why are illegals treated better than our own people?

What the heck are you talking about? Where did I say anything about printing money and a federally funded school district, nor did I compare the federal government or the US Department of the Treasury who prints money to a school district. Money is printed by the U.S. Treasury. It is absurd to compare entities which have nothing in common. BTW, California's K-12 schools received about $8 billion in federal funding, which is about 6% of the total funding for K-12 schools. The amount of funding varies by district.

How can anyone forget that you once coached at the high school level, you remind us of it frequently. Coaches do not need to be part of the teaching staff and are paid a stipend per sport or season. Were you also a teacher at the high school where you coached and thus became a member of the CTA which you would need to be since California is not a 'right to work' state. Were you the head coach or an assistant coach? How long ago did you do this anyway?

Aren't all K-12 football programs paid for through student-raised activity funds, parent/booster organization funds, community grants provided at the local, state and national levels and funding from the school district. What does this have to do with Government employees caring greatly that the bottom line absolutely affects their wages and benefits.

$350 billion was a "cheap" way to destroy Russia vs.a full blown war between NATO.

Unfortunately it didn't work.

Inflation increasing, stock market crashing, unemployment rising, health services deteriorating, foreign relations severing... If this is winning, I'd hate to see what losing is like.😄

False.

There have been studies that say cats purr on their owners to help heal them with low frequency vibration.
