Germany updates US travel advice after 3 citizens are detained

The office noted that a criminal conviction in the U.S., false information about an individual’s purpose of stay, or “even a slight overstay of the visa” can lead to arrest, detention and deportation.

The new advisory comes as Germany is investigating the case of three of its citizens being denied entry and placed in detention when they tried to enter the U.S.

Most tourists from European countries, including Germany, can generally travel to the U.S. for up to 90 days. Still, when the German citizens were detained separately crossing the San Diego-Tijuana border, they were denied entry and sent to a detention center, The New York Times reported.

The changes and detentions come amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration at the country’s southern border and the implementation of a mass deportation plan.

A $3.4 billion loan was first requested last week, then another $2.8 billion was asked for. He further told the local outlet that it was "something we previewed in the January budget."

I'm not always asking. I ask people who state falsehoods with such certainty that they would certainly be willing to back up the claims with a bet. Yet you somehow always avoid accepting the bets. Either you don't really believe the propaganda you spew or you can't afford to lose $500.

Venezuela agrees to again accept US deportation flights

Venezuela announced Saturday it had reached an agreement with Washington to accept additional deportation flights from the United States, one week after more than 200 Venezuelans accused of being gang members were sent to El Salvador.

"In order to ensure the return of our countrymen with the protection of their human rights, we have agreed with the US government to resume the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants with a first flight tomorrow," Venezuelan top negotiator Jorge Rodriguez said in a statement.
