The faux outrage over this is pretty dumb.  They could have all met in a room and had this same discussion.  More importantly, the mission was not compromised and was a success.

Had they all met in a room for that discussion, it is unlikely we would have known about it or seen a transcript of it, unless perhaps it was at The Capital Grille on Pennsylvania Ave, D.C. in one of their private rooms.  I read Republicans prefer high-end steakhouses. LOL

Fortunately for me, my concern is not with the price of gas or eggs, etc. Are illegal crossings not going down? I've not noticed. I see waste and fraud going up right now, not down. Have you noticed that wasteful frauds are those folks who are loudly claiming that they are fighting against these things.

Waste and fraud is being uncovered at a pace unheard of pace, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.  Musk and Doge are working on the premise of saving a trillion in spending.  My concern is that the left, instead of assisting, is grandstanding and lying to disrupt the process, and the sheep are being manipulated into chaos and destruction.

I'm also concerned that the Democrats have no real leadership, have learned absolutley nothing, have no message, have no plan, and are just doubling down on TDS.  Heck, Fetterman has the nuts to call them out for their childish behavior at the SotU, and the reaction is to primary him and get rid of him.

Need a strong two party system or else this shit cycle will never end.  They should start promoting moderates and common sense folks like Ritchie  Torres, and do less showboating of AOC and f'n Bernie, who only appeal to the base they already have.

Not sure, and I'm not sure if that is the ultimate goal.

First they need to id, then need to stop, then I guess litigation could be an option, if warranted.  Musk has said a lot of it was just stuff like something being approved, the approver retiring, and the faucet never getting turned off........stuff like that.  It's easy to see how that could happen on an operation of that magnitude.

Ultimately, this will be a good process. But disruption is always a bit shocking and uncomfortable at the outset.

The musk/doge interview on fox that I posted in the DOGE thread on the GO was actually very good and shows the intent.
