How'd those polls workout for you on November 5th..comrade?

Coach, are we politically aligned? Who would have guessed? -If you do not know what I am talking about or are confused? Look up the definition of comrade. The term is complimentary when referring to a colleague, compatriot, a buddy, or even when addressing a fellow socialist or communist. For the record, I am not a communist, but I do lean more towards socialism... so there is that.

When someone calls folks who disagree with them politically communists or socialist because they can think of nothing better to say.   

Polls are polls. I have never put much stock in them.  My guess is they means more to Trump than they do to me or even you. There are so many of them these days. For every poll favoring someone or something the is a counterpart opposing it. I am having fun with them and you. You and I both know that we can handpick polls that support whatever viewpoint we want them to. Maybe if I were a gambler, polls might have a purpose.

Just for the record, the polls had little to do with the outcome of the last election... at least as far as I am concerned.

The answer is simple, I mentioned Biden because he is referenced in the poll, I posted which as you well know was copied and pasted. It is not like I orchestrated and conducted that poll. But if polls get you going, they seem to have gotten worse for Trump just recently and I bet this upsets him because he is fervently responding to them and the pollsters. Middle of the week update.  Good news here.  Trumpy #45 no longer has to worry about having the lowest poll ratings for the first 100 days in modern history.  Trumpt #47 has that record now.  Is breaking your own record considered an achievement?

How's the tariffs?  Do we have any?  Is it still spin the wheel type?   

Trumpy says he has made deals with over 200 countries.  When asked which countries, he can't name one.  Weird.  You would think he would know.     No, his response was "The deal is a deal that I choose... We are a department store, and we set the price."   Not a single country named.   

Trumpy says that he has been in recent phone talks with Xi over tariffs.   Except Xi stated that there has been no talks and no phone calls.  When asked when exactly the phone call(s) occurred, Trumpy responds with "no comment".

Xi isn't taking phone calls.  He is too busy "operating the Panama Canal".   

Bacon prices quadrupled and apple prices doubled.  Or did they?  We were told there was evidence of this coming.  Nothing yet.

Claimed in April that we were already taking in $2M, $2.5M, even $3M PER DAY in tariff revenue.  Bogus claims and it is evident El Lardo still doesn't understand how tariffs work because we don't "take in" tariffs as revenue.  It is an expense that importers pay and pass along to consumers.

Good thing he has convinced us all that Ukraine started that war.  Oh wait.  No one with an IQ above their age number believes that.

Good thing for real that we gave them $350B like he claims.  Except that we didn't do that either.

Maybe Europe should give them some money.  They have provided $200B less to them than we have.  Oh wait... that's not true either.  Europe = $157B, US = $135B

Or maybe he should have just ended the war on "day one" like he campaigned on.  Oh wait... that was "in jest".       So he didn't even have a "concept of a plan".

The 100 day polling continues to be dismal for President Donald Trump and his administration. The Washington Post/ABC/Ipsos and the AP/NORC poll out in the last couple of days even show him with a 39% approval rating which is astonishing for a president this early in his term. It's the presidential honeymoon from hell — for all of us, unfortunately.

One of the most unexpected results of these new polls is the fact that Trump is underwater on every issue now, even his supposed strong suits, immigration and the economy. On the latter he is in terrible shape hovering in the low 30s in some of the polls and even on immigration people are rejecting his tactics. Across the board on every other issue, from tariffs to the assault on DEI to the reckless cutting of government agencies and odious foreign policy, a majority rejects his actions.

Now, it must be said that Republicans, by and large, still support Trump. His numbers aren't in the 90s but they're still pretty high, usually in the 60s to 70s and Republican officials living in their cloistered little cult compounds for the most part consider that to be all they need to justify staying the course. Trump believes he is the president of Trumplandia, not America, so he's fine with that too. He's so lost in his own reality in which anything that doesn't comport with his increasingly delusional hype is dismissed as fake that I don't think he's even aware of how fully he's been rejected by the vast majority of Americans.

-Good question, Coach. Although I cannot locate the poll now, someone posted a one showing the opposite results. My post was an example how ridiculous these polls are because they are invariably  skewed by whoever is taking them.

Really easy to prove and here's why. Despite the ongoing negative media coverage that no one believes except for your ilk that you literally lost on. Seems fulfilling campaign promises that he ran on including tariffs that almost 90% of the country voted on, it makes it statistically IMPOSSIBLE for those fake headlines to even be remotely accurate. Those headlines play to people like you, prime, agnostic, bbc, funk, etc because they know you're dumb enough to buy into such nonsense. Just a reminder of what the November 5th vote resulted in.....

When you fulfill campaign promises the people wanted and don't lose support, again, it's statistically impossible that those numbers are close to accurate.
