Yes, 40 million people on snap and over 5 million of them in one blue state alone.

Almost 3 million more in another blue state.

As of FY 2024, approximately 2.93 million people in New York received SNAP benefits, which represents about 14.7% of the state's population.

So 20% of the 40+ million people on snap are located in just 2 blue states.
