If the republicans show up to vote (and that's all they have to do), the mid-terms are over and we'll pick up a big number of seats and Dems will lose seats. Prop 50 is sitting on the SCOTUS' docket and just might get repealed.
The issue that is ignored is, regardless of Trump's approval ratings, the Democrats is historically worse.
They do not have the candidates that inspire confidence and can challenge on policy.
