I'm curious why you didn't quote and include all of the other extensions since 2008? Is it because it doesn't fit your narrative that people have known and had almost 20 years to prepare for this?

I renewed my drivers license a couple weeks ago and got a RealID.

Very easy.   Took me 45 minutes .
Docs were pretty much the same as just renewing a license.
RealID came in mail in about 10 days.

Docs  I took:
Existing license which has a photo on it.
Utility bill with my name and address on it.
Marriage certificate.
Birth certificate.

I could have taken my Soc Sec card but I couldn't find it.  Ordered a new one and got in a week from Soc Sec.
