To recap, accurately, you claimed Trump would cancel the midterm elections by declaring a state of emergency.  You then offered to provide the specific fact pattern showing how he would do it.  You then failed to do so. 

You were provided with a link to the National Emergencies Act, which allows the POTUS to declare a state of emergency, and it was explained to you that the Act is a federal law that has no impact on state elections; that state elections are governed by state law; and asked to point out in the Act where the POTUS could use it to cancel midterm elections. 

You failed to do so.
