Mulvaney requests no funding for Consumer Financial Protection Bureauhttps://www.politico.com/story/2018/01/18/mulvaney-funding-consumer-bureau-cordray-345495Every quarter, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau formally requests its operating funds from the Federal Reserve. Last quarter, former director Richard Cordray asked for $217.1 million. Cordray, an appointee of President Barack Obama, needed just $86.6 million the quarter before that. And Wednesday, President Donald Trump’s acting CFPB director, Mick Mulvaney, sent his first request to the Fed. He requested zero.

Ah… name calling: the last phase of sore losing.
I never once "called you" a pedo. That’s quite an overstatement. But, no matter how you spin it, you refused to denounce the act/condition until now. Everyone but you is in agreement on that matter.
I will modify my avatar signature to reflect this very important update. Happy?
Hmm, you seem to have forgotten to do the update. Maybe you like the term pedophile under your avatar. Thank you for never calling me one and only insinuating that I was. You are not off the hook. Never have been a sore loser or even a loser for that matter. If I was pissed off at you, you would cease to exist.

As the shutdown moved into its third day, the New York Democrat and his party buckled as several Democrats backed a deal to end the shutdown in exchange for a Republican pledge to address the immigration debate in the near future. Schumer quickly became a punching bag for the right and left. "It's official: Chuck Schumer is the worst negotiator in Washington — even worse than Trump," said Murshed Zaheed, political director for the liberal group CREDO. "Schumer caved," tweeted former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, an ally to President Donald Trump. He added, "Lessons learned — Schumer burned." Schumer had little margin for error in this first major test of his muscle and maneuvering as leader. https://www.yahoo.com/news/schumers-moment-shutdown-puts-spotlight-dem-leader-071540434.html

He has Stephen Miller in the room right now just agitating the whole process and making everyone uncomfortable. Pure genius on Trump's behalf. Schumer is about to get ROASTED by the far left progressive wing of his party. I can see the Jimmy Dore video coming down the pike about how much of a pussy Schumer and the rest of the Democrats were for folding(in fact I will post it when it becomes available, which it will)

Brilliant political maneuvering by Trump. Bring in 2 of the most vulnerable Democrat Senators from red states and get them isolated. Lean on them. That is not even taking into account the other 10 or so Democrat Senators running for re-election in '18 from states that Trump carried. You don't think they received the message from this disaster of a shutdown by the Democrats?? Trump will end up getting EVERYTHING he wants out of this deal. http://www.kansas.com/news/business/article195905704.html4:20 p.m.
President Donald Trump is meeting with a pair of moderate Democratic senators at the White House Monday afternoon to discuss immigration.
Press secretary Sarah Sanders says West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin and Alabama Sen. Doug Jones are meeting with the president to discuss the legislative path forward after the three-day government shutdown is ended.
The red-state lawmakers both broke with the majority of their party Friday on a vote to keep the government open. But enough Democrats withheld their support from the measure in an effort to force progress on legislation to address immigration policy.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is pledging to bring up immigration legislation next month if agreement isn't reached by Feb. 8.

The Democrats have not fought a Civil War. And Schumer is weak. Tom Perez has done a TERRIBLE job of integrating and working the progressive left back into the mesh. Look at the lefty posters on here. Look at the DNC's behavior. Just a bunch of people with their head in the sand. Absolutely zero message. At the rate they are going...10 months out from mid-terms. It is going to be a blood bath loss for the Democrats, plain and simple.

WASHINGTON — Congress is apparently not done cutting taxes, even after passing a $1.5 trillion tax overhaul last year. The deal struck by Democrats and Republicans on Monday to end a brief government shutdown contains $31 billion in tax cuts, including a temporary delay in implementing three health care-related taxes.

Tax reform windfall: These companies are hiking pay, delivering bonusesBy Thomas Barrabi Published January 23, 2018 In response to historic tax reform legislation, American companies are rewarding its employees. From Boeing to Wal-Mart, here's a roundup of bonuses and extra perks corporate America is doling out. Verizon (VZ) on Tuesday joined several major companies in rewarding employees with incentives tied to the passage of a GOP-backed tax reform bill. The telecom giant will give nearly all of its employees 50 shares of restricted stock, worth roughly $53 each as of this week, a source with knowledge of the equity award confirmed to Fox News. The share prices will be set on Feb. 1. The $1.5 trillion tax bill reduces the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% and changes the way the U.S. government taxes companies that also operate internationally. http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2018/01/23/tax-reform-windfall-these-companies-are-hiking-pay-delivering-bonuses.html
