It certainly doesn't hurt the US, on the contrary.  The Trump administration agreed to cut some tariffs on Chinese goods in exchange for this and other stuff.

Its long established that Saudi Arabia only cares for its self. Its also been exceptionally good at getting the US to protect its interests. There is little in the past few years to suggest otherwise

I posted the article thinking this is good for the US.  I didn't post it obsessing over what's bad for China or for Saudi Arabia.

Help an enemy...LOL.  The US was already selling oil to China.  The volume simply increased, by a lot.  I wasn't aware that China was an enemy of the US, or that the US is trying to hurt China.

It seems to me what the US wants with China and any other country is trade that doesn't hurt the US while enriching those countries.  If China is an enemy of the US, why are the two countries trading?

And yes, this helps the US.  And no, it doesn't help China enrich itself at the expense of the US.
