No kidding  , Trump was thought highly by libs when he contributed $$ to dems in power to get his NYC building permits approved .
His reality TV show had a good run for a few years and he realized the media was the key to success in the modern world
Then he came out with the Obama birther nonsense and  developed a following on social media .

To his credit, he tapped into the anger of the white working class. Then he got the evangelicals hooked with his promise to pick
"pro life judges" for SCOTUS. In 2016, he pulled an inside straight in 3 key mid-western states to win the White house.

History proves , every good run , comes to an end. Politics, sports, business, etc,  all experience this reality.

Is it not possible that part of the reason Trump is frequently under scrutiny and attack is that he brings this on himself? Two things come to mind. One is that he knows any press is good press because it keeps him at the forefront. Another is that he believes he can do no wrong, so he discounts his own poor choices and lays blame elsewhere. These behaviors and others tie in with his narcissistic personality disorder. His thinking is not in the real world it is in his fantasies about himself.

People in the public eye are more criticized than those who fly under the radar. This has always been true. The vastness of social media today magnifies this, especially in the negative. Trump's self-aggrandizement inspires and demands scrutiny. He says he is a victim, and he is one, mostly of his own making.
