https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-suggesting-ron-desantis-pedophile-1234675596/

Donald Trump recently has been ramping up his attacks on Ron DeSantis ahead of a potential 2024 Republican primary showdown. We’re not going to lie, we figured it take the former president a least a few more months before he started accusing the Florida governor of pedophilia.

Trump has been doing just that on Tuesday, though, sharing a few posts on Truth Social purporting to show DeSantis “grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher.”

“That’s not Ron, is it?” Trump wrote, sarcastically. “He would never do such a thing!”

Trump going heavy on the "DeSantis is a pedophile" stuff today. pic.twitter.com/LS2zRpke3z
    — Will Sommer (@willsommer) February 7, 2023

The New York Times reported last year on DeSantis’ time as a teacher at the Darlington School in northwest Georgia. The report notes that several students described DeSantis as “a frequent presence at parties” with seniors at the school. “As an 18-year-old, I remember thinking, ‘What are you doing here, dude?’” one former student told the Times.

The photo Trump shared on Tuesday was originally published in 2021 by a Democratic blog called The Hill Reporter, which noted that the girls in the photo were seniors when it was taken in 2002.

Surprised?  When there is nothing else to go with, Trumpturds always trot out the pedophile line.

Why is the orange turd worried about someone that hasn't even said they were running yet?    ;D

Shhh... you hear that?   Over the sound of crying and the gnashing of teeth of the Trumpturds???

Why,... it's the sound of #WINNING!  hahahahahaha   :D

60+ court cases, Repub AG, Repub VP, Repub state election officials, numerous recounts, the orange turd's own daughter,- even the SCOTUS, which has 3 trump appointees on it, indicated there was no evidence, to support that claim that there was voter fraud; and yet there will still be those, who are retarded enough and can be fooled all the time, who won't believe it and continue monetary support to keep the BIG LIE going.   Support the Grifter in 2024.

Research Firm Hired By Trump To Prove 2020 Election Fraud Came Up Empty: Report.

A research firm investigated Donald Trump’s assertion that the presidential election was fraudulent, but its findings were suppressed because they found nothing to support his claims, The Washington Post reported citing four sources familiar with the matter.

The Berkeley Research Group, hired by the former president’s 2020 campaign, gathered a team of around a dozen people to look into alleged voter fraud and irregularities in six states, according to the Post.

The team reportedly briefed Trump, his former chief of staff Mark Meadows and others on a conference call held in the last days of 2020 — before Trump held a rally urging his supporters to march on the Capitol preceding the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection. The call reportedly became contentious.

But the researchers had looked at “everything,” one source told the Post.

“Literally anything you could think of. Voter turnout anomalies, date of birth anomalies, whether dead people voted. If there was anything under the sun that could be thought of, they looked at it,” the source said.

As recently as Saturday morning, Trump has claimed that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” or “stolen” from him, pushing various conspiracy theories about voting machines and election workers.

He has made these claims even as dozens of lawsuits filed by Trump’s campaign or his allies were tossed out for lack of evidence in the weeks after President Joe Biden’s victory.

Trump continued to make his claims throughout the House select committee’s monthslong investigation, which revealed that people close to Trump repeatedly tried to tell him there was no evidence of fraud.

And apparently, he made them despite knowing that a team of professional researchers he paid to try and find evidence of fraud came up empty-handed.

The Post’s source added: “Just like any election, there are always errors, omissions and irregularities.” But the person stressed that they were not nearly enough to sway the election.

“It was nowhere close enough to what they wanted to prove,” the source said, “and it actually went in both directions.”

They never mattered.  It's just at this point that they don't even bother to try to hide their immunity from facts or reality.

“It’s a really  tough situation for DeSantis,” said Tommy Vietor, a Democratic strategist who worked for Senator Barack Obama in his brutal primary race against Hillary Clinton in 2008. “If he starts punching at Trump, he’s going to anger a lot of the people he needs to vote for him.”

But, Mr. Vietor noted, “if you are viewed as weak and cower in response to attacks from Trump, that will be seen as a proxy for how you will be seen as a Republican nominee and how you’ll be as president.”

Trumpy is scared.  That’s why he is attacking Ron when he hasn’t even announced he is running yet.  And calling him a groomer.  Hahahaha. Sign of pure desperation from him.  Just like it is when his little Trumpturds on here do the same because they have nothing else.    ;D

Trump loses latest fight with New York Attorney General Letitia James over $110K contempt payment.

Donald Trump on Tuesday lost his very wordy legal fight over a $110,000 contempt-of-court payment he wants back from New York Attorney General Letitia James.

A New York appellate court spent just four paragraphs rejecting the former president's 1,000-page appeal of the contempt fine.

The panel of five appellate judges found that the fine — paid by Trump in May as punishment for flouting James' probe of his business — was "not excessive or otherwise improper."

The fine had been set last year by the same Manhattan judge presiding over James' upcoming $250 million fraud lawsuit against Trump, his three eldest children, and his real-estate and golf-resort company. That lawsuit is scheduled for trial in October.

The contempt fine was Trump's penalty for repeatedly failing to fully comply with James' subpoena for his personal business documents. Instead, Trump responded to the subpoena with delay tactics and a brief claim that a "diligent search" had failed to turn up any more documents.

Rather than produce his business records, "Mr. Trump produced 16 pages of boilerplate objections and a four-page affirmation by counsel that states, summarily, that Mr. Trump was unable to locate any responsive documents in his custody," the attorney general complained in demanding the fine.

Ultimately, Trump only ever turned over 10 personal business documents, just a fraction of the 900,000 documents totaling 6 million pages turned over in total by the Trump Organization.

In April, New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron fined Trump $10,000 a day until Trump could provide a sworn affidavit detailing the Trump Organization's document-retention policy and describing what had been done to search for the records, as the subpoena had required.

Engoron correctly found that Trump's initial subpoena-dodging "was calculated to, and actually did, impair" the attorney general's fraud probe, Tuesday's New York Appellate Division decision found.

The contempt order was lifted in June.

A lawyer for Trump did not immediately say if he will further appeal the contempt fine; the former president's $110,000 for now remains in an attorney general's office escrow account. It would eventually become part of the general funds of the office.

"Once again, the courts have ruled that Donald Trump is not above the law," James wrote in a press statement.

"For years, he tried to stall and thwart our lawful investigation into his financial dealings, but today's decision sends a clear message that there are consequences for abusing the legal system. We will not be bullied or dissuaded from pursuing justice."

Trump is worth $3.2 billion by Forbes' reckoning, but he had spared little effort in trying to get his $110,000 payment back.

The appellate brief rejected on Tuesday totaled 977 pages.

The contempt fine was "vindictive," "speculative," "improper," "punitive," "excessive," and based on "threadbare justification," attorney Alina Habba argued over the course of a 233-page Notice of Motion, a 247-page Record on Appeal, and a pair of briefs totaling 497 pages.

Trump has lost repeatedly to James' office in the lead up to October's trial. In January, Engoron rejected what he called Trump's "borderline frivolous" request to dismiss James lawsuit altogether.

Also in January, Trump dropped his efforts to challenge James' lawsuit in federal court in Florida.

In November, he lost his fight against having a court-ordered monitor watch for what Engoron called "persistent fraud" at the Trump Organization.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-putin-war-russia-b2286504.html

“Putin never ever would have gone into Ukraine if I were president,” Mr Trump claimed at a rally in Florida, according to Rolling Stone. “I actually had a very good relationship” with Mr Putin.

Mr Trump appeared at an event hosted at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport hotel on Presidents’ Day.

“Remember when [the press] hit me with a question – ‘Who do you trust … your intelligence people, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Lisa Page, Or Putin?’ And I said you know, that could be the toughest question I’ve ever been asked as a politician. And then when I really didn’t give them a very good answer in terms of exactness … all hell broke loose. But that’s okay, you know, that’s okay. And it turned out I was right. I was right about that, too,” he claimed.

Top GOP campaign group invites 2024 prospects to donor retreat – except Trump.

The Club for Growth, a leading conservative campaign group, will host almost all of the top 2024 Republican prospects for a donor retreat in South Florida this weekend, except Donald Trump, according to a Republican familiar with the plans.

Newly minted candidates Nikki Haley, the former U.N. ambassador, and Vivek Ramaswamy, the former pharmaceutical magnate turned conservative influencer, will headline the meeting in Palm Beach. The top Republicans seriously eyeing bids — including making all the moves of a shadow campaign — are also expected to attend the event, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu.

The only declared candidate not attending is former President Donald Trump. Trump, who helped spark the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection with his 2020 election lies and is widely blamed for the GOP’s poor showing in the 2022 midterms, was not invited to the donor retreat, the Republican source told Yahoo News. The retreat is being held in Palm Beach, Fla., which is where Trump lives at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Trump slammed the organization over the snub on his social media platform earlier this month, calling the group “an assemblage of political misfits, globalists, and losers.”

DeSantis slides as Trump surges to 1st head-to-head lead in months

A new Yahoo News/YouGov poll shows that after trailing for the last three months, former President Donald Trump has suddenly surged to a substantial lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a two-man matchup for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

Previously, DeSantis led Trump 45% to 41% among Republican voters. Now Trump leads DeSantis 47% to 39% — a net swing of 12 percentage points in Trump’s direction since early February.

The survey of 1,516 U.S. adults, which was conducted from Feb. 23 to 27, suggests that Trump could prove more resilient in 2024 than his rivals had hoped — and more difficult for someone like DeSantis to defeat.

And yet, Ron was invited to the 2024 retreat and Trumpy wasn't.

The term "Fake News" is a term used by people who refuse to believe irrefutable facts that are presented to them.  In other words, retards.

But to his credit, calling Fox "fake news" is the first time he ever told the truth.

---
Trump Flips Out At 'Fake' Fox News For 'Promoting' Ron DeSantis.

Former President Donald Trump renewed his attacks on Fox News on Monday, accusing the network of downplaying his popularity over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

“FoxNews is promoting Ron DeSanctus so hard and so much that there’s not much time left for Real News,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “The new Fox Poll, which have always been purposely terrible for me, has ‘TRUMP Crushing DeSanctimonious,’ but they barely show it.”

“Isn’t there a big, beautiful, Network which wants to do well, and make a fortune besides? FAKE NEWS!” he added.

Trump was referring to a Fox News poll published Sunday that showed him leading DeSantis by 15 points in a hypothetical 2024 presidential face-off. Apparently, the former president feels the network didn’t give enough airtime to the poll ― which was mentioned on air at least twice, according to Forbes.

Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Fox News in recent months. While many of the network’s hosts continue to support him, some have become noticeably less sycophantic in the wake of the midterm elections. Rupert Murdoch, the network’s owner, has reportedly sought to distance his media empire from Trump and is turning instead to DeSantis, Trump’s potential rival for the 2024 Republican nomination.

And according to court documents released Monday, Murdoch admitted under oath during a deposition for Dominion Voting Systems’ lawsuit against the network last month that several Fox News hosts had endorsed conspiracy theories that the 2020 election was rigged against Trump.

Trump recently called Fox News a “RINO Network” (Republican in name only), after court filings from that case revealed that star hosts and executives had sent text messages calling Trump’s 2020 election fraud lies “ludicrous,” “off the rails,” and “mind blowingly nuts” while publicly lending credence to them.

Fox News issued a statement Monday calling Dominion’s lawsuit an “extreme, unsupported view of defamation law.”

DeSantis has not announced a 2024 presidential run but is widely expected to do so. Fox News’ hypothetical match-up showed Trump well ahead of DeSantis, who, in turn, was more than 20 points ahead of Nikki Haley, the only Republican besides Trump to throw her hat in the ring so far.

So scared of someone that hasn't even announced he is running.  LOL.

It's funny how retards look at this whining, crying infantile man baby that is constantly upset, in tears, and aggrieved by everything and somehow they see some kind of strong alpha-male leader. It's generally because they are whining crybabies in real life themselves.  Never has a more fragile ego been displayed.

---
Trump targets Fox News for ‘promoting’ DeSantis ‘so hard and so much’.

Former President Trump renewed his attacks on Fox News this week, accusing the network of underplaying a new poll showing him with a double-digit lead on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a potential 2024 Republican presidential primary match-up.

“Reminds me of 2016 when they were pushing ‘JEB!’ ".

Trump has in recent weeks stepped up his attacks on the network, which still features a number of hosts who are staunchly supportive of him, though some have signaled a growing interest in DeSantis.

Supreme Court Rejects Case To Reinstate Trump Over 'Rigged' Election.

Raland, Deron, and Loy Brunson, the three brothers hoping to reinstate former President Donald Trump in the White House, have suffered yet another setback as their case has been rejected for the second time by the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court Denies Rehearing Of Brunson v. Adams

Justices turned down the request for the rehearing of Brunson v. Adams on Tuesday, February 21st, making it even less likely for the Utah brothers to succeed in removing President Joe Biden from office. They are not giving up, however, and Raland Brunson took to Facebook the same day, saying: “[Second] Petition denied. Moving on to plan C. I will say more about that within the next few days. We have been working long and hard on these strategies and there are more to come.”

“We understand this to be a possible long but worthy goal,” he continued. “The result is that everyone in this nation will have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the candidate of their choice will be bound by their oath to protect the rights and freedom of the people they represent.”

The U.S. Supreme Court previously dismissed the case for the first time on Monday, January 9th, declining without comment to hear Raland Brunson’s October 2022 petition. Brunson posted an update on Facebook following the court’s January 9th decision, writing: “The petition was denied. We will now make our next move. A petition for reconsideration. Hang in [there] everyone.”

‘He’s a Tyrant’: Trumpers Fume After Being Booted From DeSantis Book Event

A group of Donald Trump supporters were asked to leave a book signing event for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in a sign of growing tensions between the two former pals.

In a video shared by far-right personality Laura Loomer, a group clad in Trump regalia waves Trump flags and signs outside Books-a-Million in Leesburg, Florida—before being confronted by a security guard.

“They told me to say anyone wearing Trump has to go right now,” the guard explains, as the supporters react with shock. “Free speech,” one pro-Trump protester yelled.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, Loomer said that some of the people in the group had tickets to the event to meet the potential 2024 candidate, but were not let inside due to their pro-Trump attire.

“Police showed up and they told us that we were going to be cited and arrested for trespassing if we didn’t leave because DeSantis didn’t want us inside,” she said. “It shows that he’s a tyrant.”

Loomer then took aim at DeSantis.

“Ron DeSantis is anti-free speech. It’s one of the reasons why I don'’t support him and why I’ll never support him,” the far-right provocateur said. “And if he’s a Republican nominee, I simply won’t vote.”

The group eventually left without incident after police showed up.

Leesburg Police Department Captain Joseph Iozzi told The Daily Beast in a phone interview on Wednesday morning that the pro-Trump activists never officially trespassed.

“When we got there, the people [pro-Trump activists] were compliant and ultimately moved to the public area surrounding the mall,” Iozzi said. “There were no official trespass warnings issued.”
