Pedophilia is horrendous. To loosely refer to people you simply don’t like or agree with politically as pedophiles, normalizes the term. This is not something a rational and sane person would ever consider doing.

Fortunately, most people regardless of their political stance, do not resort to using derogatory language when referring to people with different views in real life. There are a few people who post on Getbig who seem to enjoy being identified with certain groups such and Nazi sympathizers and holocaust deniers. At times some folk's racism on Getbig and other venues on the Internet is obvious. Also, sexism seems okay. I hope this place doesn't mirror how folks talk normally. When people believe they are anonymous they will often say things that they would never say if they were in a situation where people knew their identity.
