80 hours a week is a lot. How many hours working out are added to that?
You complete 2 of those 5 month contracts a year, each year?
No doubt, the top positions on board (F&B director, Chief engineer, Hotel director, Executive Housekeeper) work around 100 they are on call 24-7, I train 45 min to 1 hour a day, I average anywhere from 8-12 miles walking a day on my pedometer for work, ship is huge 15 decks, 1000 feet long and I run 6 decks that I have to constantly check on from up and down different decks to the front to back of the ship, I've had guys who worked for me lose 30-40 pounds in a 5 month contract just from all the walking the job requires (no training in gym). And yes 2, 5 month contracts a year, or you can extend, in which I completed 2 contracts in one shot, worked 9 months straight with out a day off, so I could have 12 weeks vacation to train for my last show. I'm the only American that has ever done that, most people can't work 9 days without a day off. The struggle is real broski!
