Soulcrusher predicted a Reagan v Mondale type outcome.  I merely stated it would be closer than you are willing to admit with which you vehemently disagreed.  If Bernie were to merely win to states it would be closer than Reagan v Mondale. 

I think my team may have missed their opportunity in 2016 by running Hilary.  I do believe Bernie would have done better than her in Wisc, Mich & Penn.  Bernie v Trump in 2020 I'd give slight edge to the pussy grabber but think it would be closer than 2016 with Hilary.

The days of Reagan/Mondale results are likely a thing of the past because of the political division in this country but Trump v. Bernie?

Just wait until Bernie gets on stage with Trump and tries to explain taking away private insurance from millions and millions of Americans who are happy with their insurance. Replacing that with some shitty government program. On that alone he is doomed.

Wait until Bernie tries to explain giving benefits to people who are here illegally.

Trump wins Ohio and Florida easily. He takes Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Nevada, Minnesota, New Mexico and Maine are also in play for Trump if he is matched up versus Bernie.

People get tricked into this internet bubble but that is so far removed from the average person who leans left but just shake their heads at this guy's platform.

New Emerson poll showing Bernie in a statistical tie with Biden.

The 7 News/Emerson College Poll shows the former vice president with 30% support, followed closely by the Vermont senator at 27%.

The rest of the field is much farther down, with Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren at 13% and entrepreneur Andrew Yang at 8%. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the founder and majority owner of Bloomberg LP, the parent company of Bloomberg News, is at 7% and former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 6%.

The poll of 497 Democratic primary voters nationwide was conducted from Jan. 21-23. This portion of the poll has a margin of error of 4.1 percentage points.
