dorian 250 - 260... onstage beside a todays coleman would be like a child..

but the small waist saves him. the wide waist is what makes Dorian's midsection look 50 times worse.

nah, that's where you're wrong.  Ronnei used to have an incredible taper now it's ruined.  Yates never had a good taper.  Any other pics showing how bad dorians guy was in 94?  Or are we gonna keep posting that one everytime this conversation comes up?  Dorian looked like shit in 94, I think everyone agrees with this but he rebounded well in 95.  Ronnies gut has been horrendous for years now..

already mentioned this in the thread about " earliest use of synthol"  and another thread.

synthol: but many people don't wish to talk about it. At least when it comes to the people they idolize.

I guess his non-existent obliques/serratus are what kept coleman at the top for so long.

 Doesn't really explain why though.

Who gives a flying f**k about a pic of Yates when he was BACKSTAGE. If his f**king gut, which he obviously has, was all over the place ON STAGE, than fine. But the package he presented on stage was solid and with the aid of him having the Mr. Olympia advantage, he got the win. Period.  F**k you all.

I notice you use the "f" word a lot in your posts and it's next to your avatar.  Do you think you're cool by doing that or something?  Just curious.  And, BTW, what is your age?  Again, just curious.

Bumping up a great thread.  Dorian's arms were NOT top six material at this show.  Maybe not even top 10!  What kind of Mr. Olympia can't hang with the top six arms wise?  Pathetic!  His gut was horrid at this show.  To his credit, his back poses were out of sight.

uhhhh....lets see, past mr.o's without good arms.....well you got franco, zane, dickerson, haney and dorian....none of them ever had the best arms in any show....arms arent' the give all end all.

biceps aren't the whole arm. Dorian still had great foreams and tris. Maybe not so much standing relaxed, but his side tri is impressive nonetheless

with a better back, better conditioning, and more size than most anyone else, Dorian deserved his victories. Standing relaxed is one pose of twelve. He owned most of the other 11.

looks like hulkster made a new friend with Matt c.

more ronnie vs. dorian.  sure, why not.

you posted a picture of a relaxed dorian, regardless he would easily beat ronnie in any ab or midsection pose.

does it really matter how it looks relaxed? if so, then ronnie is much worse.  a small waist and gut makes no sense.  at least if the waist is big, it would make more sense that the guy is also big.

case in point:

I was gonna post the same thing but I've gotten tired of making that arguement, now we'll get 20 posts of Dorian from 94 when he looked his worst compared to a bunch of pics of Ron from 98 when he looked his best.

what kind of mr. olympia has arguably the worse calves and midsection in the ENTIRE lineup?

arms on dorian?  like i said earlier to hulkster, show me anyone that looks better than yates in the side tricep pose.  tricep and forearm included.

What is weird about dorian's triceps is that they looked good in the side tri, but disappeared in every other shot:

really weird..

great arms should look good from the

front,

sides

and back.

ronnie's arms are from another planet all together :o

I think ronnie would have a better side tri if he gripped his flexed arm at the wrist instead locking fingers. The way he does it, his shoulder rolls forward and he looks too bunched up. By holding his wrist, he could roll the shoulder back and show more of his torso, like Jay

no midsection relaxed has ever looked this bad esp. for a Mr. Olympia - wide waist does the trick..

That is TINY compared to the gut Coleman has.

I'm sure you took the worst possible screencap of Yates' gut too

nice try, but not even close.

also, ronnie's tri's look better when he does a double bi then when does a tricep pose.  wierd.
