i got some bcaa, not sure when to take it

 ???

This is another waste of money, if you are eating plenty of protein then your body already has all the bcaas it needs

Why Glutamine rather than BCAAs?

You need both.

sorry bro but most of that is pissed out into the toilet, you could open your wallet take out 20 bucks and flush it down the toilet pretty much the same thing.
Why Glutamine rather than BCAAs?
I feel it aids in gut health, recovery, helps keep my immune system healthy, plenty of bcaa's in chicken, beef, fish, eggs..not to mention all the artificial sweeteners.

Over the counter supplements aren't really that expensive, they add to my health and fitness, and hardly put a dent in my net worth.

Athletes

Athletes who train for endurance events (like marathons) may reduce the amount of glutamine in their bodies. It is common for them to catch a cold after an athletic event. Some experts think that may be because of the role glutamine plays in the immune system. For this select group of athletes, one study showed that taking glutamine supplements resulted in fewer infections. The same is not true, however, for exercisers who work out at a moderate intensity.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

Glutamine helps protect the lining of the gastrointestinal tract known as the mucosa. For that reason, some researchers believe that people who have IBD (ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease) may not have enough glutamine. However, two clinical trials found that taking glutamine supplements did not improve symptoms of Crohn disease.

As you can see glutamine is a waste of money for a bodybuilder and you taking it for gut health would be like a person with no pain taking a painkiller.

Don't worry about it, with your level of intelligence, you'll never be a billionaire.

I'm not a bodybuilder, I train like an athlete, I run or swim every morning for an hour, I enjoy endurance athletics, when in Hawaii I surf/hike/paddle board...when it comes to lifting yes, I lift like a bodybuilder, but I expend a ton of calories from my cardio everyday, so I honestly feel and see what glutamine has done for me, now..if I was a bodybuilder just lifting once a day and maybe doing slow walking cardio, I might not incorporate glutamine in my diet, or atleast a lot less.

always a good thing to remember, saves a lot of embarrassing situations when interacting with "normal" people.

the getbig expert-crowd telling everybody to stay off supplements, mainly to save money while they themselves waste their money on shitload of bad foods, drinks, snacks etc all day year round and never have a second thought about it...

training hard and taking protein = moron
hardly training at all and eating donuts = genius
