Exactly what I was thinking. But I assume they will try to find a way of looking into their backgrounds and history more thoroughly i.e. education, employment history, any criminal record they might have etc
Trouble is that records from these countries are fickle at best!
Driving licenses and paper qualifications can be bought with a bribe and it's not like customs will be able to phone up the migrants' employers for references!

Not sure how it's going to work tbh but it should have been like Australia to begin with and migrants allowed entry on a points based merit system. If documents and references can't be verified then entry denied unless they're asylum seekers who charities have verified as legitimate.

Another issue is that a lot of potential terrorists aren't coming from these countries but from Europe. A lot of the terror attacks in France, Germany and the rest of EU have been by people who were either born there who had been residents there for some time.
