NEW: The fired Illinois State University teaching assistant who flipped over a TPUSA table has been arrested again, this time for making threats against President Trump.

Derek Lopez was arrested in a joint operation by the FBI & Secret Service, according to Fox.

Lopez was previously arrested by local police for the table-flipping incident, but has now been arrested again and charged with threatening the president, according to the FBI.

"The arrest follows a month-long investigation coordinated with the above agencies, which also included the Illinois State University Police Department, regarding Lopez's online and in-person activities," an FBI memo read.

"Lopez is alleged to have recently made threats against a sitting President, which prompted the current federal charges."

"The threats against President Trump allegedly posted by this individual are heinous and have no place in American society," FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital.

"Let this be a message to all who consider threats of violence not just against public officials, but any American, that this FBI will find you and bring you to justice."

To 86 someone also more commonly means to throw them out. Like 86-ing someone from a bar because they create a disturbance. The term originated in the restaurant industry to mean "out of stock" or "get rid of" an item, and its use to mean killing is a more recent and less common adaptation. Unfortunately some folks use the less common meaning of to kill someone when they are trying to make an overly dramatic point.
