Just to clarify a few things, although i do come from money, daddy did not give me my money, or my job.

Watching the tightrope walker at the circus is not impressive when there is a “safety net” to catch him if he doesn’t make it on his own.

My budget this year exceeds $20 million dollars, so bodybuilding, although important to me, is just a hobby.

MONSTER budget!  Ha ha ha!  Oh brother.  LOL!  My budget at Nestle was $670 million.  Big freaking deal ::)

Peace ;)

# a sum of money allocated for a particular purpose; "the laboratory runs on a budget of a million a year"
# a summary of intended expenditures along with proposals for how to meet them; "the president submitted the annual budget to Congress"

Wrong again. I am personally responsible for generating $20 million in revenue. All new business, not managing an account that is already there and building from it. $20 million in pure new business.

in addition, you are comparing nestle, a publicly traded company, with my private lable, closely held finance firm. apples-to bowling balls. and by the way, you were never in charge of anything that large, unless you were the executive vp, in charge of sales. Thats almost a billion dollars, knuclehead. You could not possibly manage anything that large, on your own.

keep blowing smoke, you can challenge my physique, but don't go down this road with me, i will destroy you everytime, this you speak about is my world.

so you can read a dictionary, unfortunetly, all of you will show how young and dumb you are, if you choose to go down this road with me.

that is the webster definitioin, congrats, but what it is in business is much more. It is the forecated amount expected for a territory, or company to generate, in relation to forecasted profitability ina given year. In english, the amount you need to generate for you or your territory to be profitable to the company.

yes, it is from a p&l standpoint, but not managing a territory, where existing business, and sccount already exist. as the other guy was saying. 670 million? Thats somewhere the entire nestle company might generate ina given year, which is a billion dollar company. But he would have you believe that it was just his responsibility, yeah, okay.

Man, they teach you a lot at "Wharton."  and i'm sure that $20 mil "budget" is making itself . . . unsupervised  . . . as we post.

No, I don't know what he talks, and I don't know him. Maybe he is very wealthy, I do know, that he never was personally responsible for generating 670 million dollars in newly generated revenue. It is not possibly for one person,, he was talking about managing that size budget, which I don't believe he did either, but my point was that if he is so smart and rich, he would know I am correct, it's not subjective, and he knows it, thats why he is not repliing,

Now, this is fun.....

Rhino,

Judging by the way you spell, reading English probably isn't your strong suit, but I'll give it one last shot anyway.

Not everyone lives in "Jackland," where "budget" refers to income or gross revenues. Most likely the latter, although it's impossible to be certain, as you express yourself like a four year old.

Mindspin was probably in charge of some aspect of Nestle's marketing . . . and the 670 mil budget is therefore quite reasonable. I'm sure Nestle spends more on marketing than your supposed "private lable" company is worth.

It's pretty funny how Mindspin pretends to be some kind of bigshot. He's a glorified ice cream salesman with a degree in "Business Administration" from some beach bum university in California.

Judging by the way you spell, reading English probably isn't your strong suit, but I'll give it one last shot anyway.

Not everyone lives in "Jackland," where "budget" refers to income or net revenues generated. Most likely the latter, although it's impossible to be certain, as you express yourself like a four year old.

Mindspin was probably in charge of some aspect of Nestle's marketing . . . and the 670 mil budget is therefore quite reasonable. I'm sure Nestle spends more on marketing than your supposed "private lable" company is worth.

word

jacko ... the term you are looking for is "target" or "threshold" .... budget means something else entirely and youre making yourself look like a jackass :D

Wrong again, no company has a marketing budget that size, I can't spell, because i don't have to, i have an assistant do it for me, since you are good at it, i would be more than happy to hire you as one of my assistants.

Target, and all the other terms are correct, but in the financial world, we use "budget", thats why mindspin recognized it.

I have work to do, here endith the lesson.

no ... in your world where people dont know what they are talking about they use "budget" .... the rest of the world knows it for its correct meaning
