i worked in a chartered accounting firm and i assisted in the audits/reviews and compilation engagements of dozens of companies of varying types .... nobody i encountered ever used "budget" in the context you do

you are misusing the term and as i said before, making a jackass out of yourself

Well, in all due respect to you, I'm sure you are right. They would never from an accounting/auditing perspective, you are right. KPMG is in the room doing our audit right now. from a sales perspective though it is used, frequently, in all seriousness, it is.

I do apreciate what you are saying though, from that perspective, you are right.

I must say Rhino does not appear to fall into the 'dumb musclehead' stereotype. Whatever his position/'budget' are, his job and education level seem better than average in the pro bodybuilding community.

They are trying to feel important by criticizing a big shot. Of course, the pros come here in part so that they can be recognized as big shots. They think that by being rude, they can show that they are mentally superior to the big shot, and therefore a big shot themselves.
