Yes, Trump didn't have a 50% chance of winning, but the odds of picking the correct person are still 50%. You had a 1 out of 2 chance. Hillary or Trump. Just because Trump didn't have a 50% chance of winning, it doesn't mean your choice isn't still at 50% in choosing the right person--it still is because there are two candidates and you choose one.

2) your chances of picking the correct candidate

Racial problems in the USA are more than 100 years old, but modern generations doesn't see it same way you do, because they have been living in that shit their whole life. In the USA there is bit below 1000 000 black americans in the prisons, and they aren't there just for fun. In sweden there is half a million people who are originated in the muslim countries. Do you see the difference of the size of the problem? Million black inmates + all the other minority's in jail compared to whole muslim population of the country?  From that half million the part which is making these problems are few percent. Big deal? Not at all. If those few would live in the USA, they would be gunned down already, because that is the way they treat coloured people back there. You see, in Sweden you have a freedom to express yourself without fear of dying by the red neck police shooting at you. People who have this freedom tend to use it in different ways, but should they be killed because of it? There should be punishments of course, but shot to death?
