There was no Classic division.  I'd like to know why personally.

There're are already so many classes, both on pro and amateur level, so maybe due a lack of time?

WIGGS/ DROP, I think Svetozar Milenkovic of Serbia won it, but I could be mistaken.

But I think that the photos of the classic contenders as posted above so far is living proof  that 1960's - 1970's bodybuilding is definitely making a comeback.

And possibly a return to the days of functional muscle.

Stunt, I'm 100% sure there was no Classic Physique Division at the Arnold.  If there was it was amateur but not pro. Why it happened when it's the fastest growing division and a division I would think Arnold would favor.

WIGGS, You're most likely right about the fact that there was no PROFESSIONAL Classic Physique event at the Arnold Classic  held earlier this month.

I'd confirm that 100% if I can find the web-page that listed the results of that event but I'm having difficulty doing so and the fact that I'm searching for a classic contest in an event call the Arnold CLASSIC makes it more difficult.

But there was definitely a Classic Bodybuilding contest held within the Arnold Classic in 2016 (see results below). and ditto for 2017 I have to assume.

2016 ARNOLD AMATEUR OVERALL WINNERS
Men’s Bodybuilding – Sergey Kulaev of Russia
Men’s Classic Bodybuilding – Adrian Ghit of Spain
Master Men’s Bodybuilding – Redha Al Qabandi of Kuwait
Fitness – Aleksandra Kepa of Poland
Figure – Michele da Silva Pinto of Brazil
Master Women’s Figure – Oksana Balanyuk of USA
Bikini – Fernanda Kunze of Brazil
Master Women’s Bikini – Paola A. Freeman of USA
Men’s Physique – Hygor Ponchet of Brazil
Women’s Physique – Fernanda Gutilla of Brazil

It might prove interesting to read about the agreement made between Arnold and the IFBB/NPC if such agreement was posted on the net.

Thanks, WIGGS

TRES, I think you are referring to KELLY BURKE.

IN MY OPINION ... no where close to TIMMS.

And you could be correct about the wt. changes. Anything official in that regards yet?

Are you as an NPC competitor receiving the NPC magazine?

speaking of older bbers - darrem charles is all over this class, but homeboy isnt placing well at all.
