I see this a lot from people so they are falling for it if that was the plan. Blaming Ryan. I don't in this case fully. I blame both/left leaning republicans. Trump endorsed a bad plan. He was better to not endorse this plan at all and go with an actual repeal and replace plan that also may not have passed due to the more liberal leaning republicans but at least it would have looked better.

Trump always said that it was better politically to let Obamacare just implode, but if this was his plan it was not a good way of going about it at all.

I am happy that there are enough sane people to not have passed this plan either in the republican party at least. Both Obamacare and this are not good. The spin now is that it will be on the democrats like Trump just announced but it still leaves a bad taste in your mouth when they basically just pushed a plan that was close to the original so thats pretty bad if the majority of them feel that way.

There is no strike on immigration. He did/is trying to do what he said he would do on that issue. You really can't do anything if they take cases to liberal courts and slow things down. In the end this one will go through unless corruption continues on the supreme court (not unlikely unfortunately). Like you posted, he is fighting a whole entrenched system and it isn't easy/not an overnight task.

More is coming out on just how corrupt the government has become (particularly the last one it appears).

I give him a strike on this one simply because the plan was awful and he endorsed it. Like I posted though, at least this disaster didn't get passed either Hopefully, they can get actually get a good plan together now.
