China 'deploys 150,000 troops to deal with possible North Korean refugees over fears Trump may strike Kim Jong-un following missile attack on Syria'

Trump's Syria strike Friday was widely interpreted as a warning to North Korea

China, which was left shocked by the air strikes, has deployed medical and backup units from the People's Liberation Army forces to the Yalu River

The troops have been dispatched to prepare for pre-emptive attacks by the US

The US Navy has moved the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier strike group from Singapore to North Korea after the country conducted more missile testing

I'm generally anti-war but North Korea is fucked. Their threats against the US cross the line.

"To make up for the shortfall from North Korea, China has ramped up imports from the United States in an unexpected boon for U.S. President Donald Trump, who has declared he wants to revive his country's struggling coal sector.

Eikon data shows no U.S. coking coal was exported to China between late 2014 and 2016, but shipments soared to over 400,000 tonnes by late February."

My wife is from Guam and is very afraid that they will get hit first if he's stupid enough to follow through with it.

We can't  predict what that crazy fuk in N Korea will do. BUT  it's likely he'd strike Seoul ( South Korea) 1st.
We ( the USA)  has an anti-ballistic missile laser system ( aka the old Reagan Star Wars).
With limited North Korean strikes it's likely we could get each one in the air before it does damage.
* check out the Lockheed martin ABL.

A multi war head strike in simultaneous fashion is where a few will likely get thru.
That's why we don't want Russia or China to get involved.

I hope it doesn't come to this and cooler heads rule the day.

It looks like China is cooperating with us... for now.

I will be in Seoul and China again in June.  Have been to SK 4 times so far.  I can honestly say that not too many people there are worried about NK attacking them.  You would think it would be just the opposite but nearly everyone just rolls their eyes and goes "pffftt" when asked.

BEIJING -- Chinese President Xi Jinping told President Donald Trump in a phone call Wednesday that Beijing was willing to work with Washington on ending North Korea’s nuclear weapons program, but wants a peaceful solution.

Xi’s comments came after the U.S. president tweeted that China should do more on the issue Washington sees as an increasingly urgent threat, or the U.S. would go it alone.

Japanese warships to join US fleet near North Korea as tensions rise

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/12/japanese-warships-join-us-fleet-north-korea

Japan is preparing to send several warships to join a US aircraft carrier strike group heading for the Korean peninsula, in a show of force designed to deter North Korea from conducting further missile and nuclear tests.

Citing two well-placed sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, Reuters and the Kyodo news agency said several destroyers from Japan’s maritime self-defence forces would join the USS Carl Vinson and its battle group as it enters the East China Sea.

The move comes as the Chinese president called for calm in the region in a phone conversation with Donald Trump.
