Trump's Syria strike Friday was widely interpreted as a warning to North Korea

China, which was left shocked by the air strikes, has deployed medical and backup units from the People's Liberation Army forces to the Yalu River

I will be in Seoul and China again in June.  Have been to SK 4 times so far.  I can honestly say that not too many people there are worried about NK attacking them.  You would think it would be just the opposite but nearly everyone just rolls their eyes and goes "pffftt" when asked.

BEIJING -- Chinese President Xi Jinping told President Donald Trump in a phone call Wednesday that Beijing was willing to work with Washington on ending North Korea’s nuclear weapons program, but wants a peaceful solution.

Xi’s comments came after the U.S. president tweeted that China should do more on the issue Washington sees as an increasingly urgent threat, or the U.S. would go it alone.

Pyongyang to Beijing air link is to be canceled as of April 17

“Air China will no longer be servicing the Pyongyang to Beijing air route after April 17. Up until now, Air China has been the only company outside of Air Koryo to service North Korea.”
