I pay $600+\month for private insurance right now I'm not fckn kidding
I've already said this, we went from $468 to almost $1300
Bums and unemployed have always been provided medical care in the USA. If anyone walks into an ER, they get treatment, whether they have insurance or not. It's always been that way.
Why are people in this thread giving outrageous sums to an insurance company? If you're basically healthy then just don't pay and go to the ER if you have to.I'm misunderstanding something. What is it?
It's against the law not to have health insurance.
Yup and pay a huge fine.
Deep down you know I'm right.
pretty funny watching Republicans (including The Bloatus) doing a touchdown dance after getting a first down 75 yards from the end zone
Trump has always supported Single Payer. I am hoping this somehow gets us there because EVERY Healthcare bill that puts the Private Insurance Health Industry as the sole dictators of health outcomes will eventually be an unsustainable disaster. The Republicans are going to have to learn the hard way I suppose and I predict it will be a bigger disaster than Obamacare in terms of costs overall.
There's no competition in the health insurance industry. There should be at least five quality health insurers in a state, but usually it's just two or three. They don't compete any more than Time Warner and Comcast compete.
Actually you don't , the loophole is religious exemption.
Yes, I know about that, but it seems to "easy." So, why are people paying fines instead of just filing for a religious exemption? Is it really as easy as sending in a form and youre done?
When you file religious exemption as a catholic they require video proof of you pounding an alter boy in the ass.
What is this exactly? I know you can do health sharing through different Christian organizations where it still is insurance with lower deductibles/less monthly then Obamacare for the average person. If I didn't get it through work I would do that as they seem to be an affordable option. Or is this for wackos who think they shouldn't go to the hospital/use medicine no matter what?
