It’s just like anyone that gets old, you fall off real quick. Just look at Peyton Manning, Brett Favre and to a lesser extent Tom Brady. When you hit the wall the drop off is quick.

I respectfully disagree.  Ronnie had the goods to win in 06.  He was definitely NOT as good as he was in, say, 2003 -- still, he had to win a majority of the mandatories by a hair.

I defer to your judgment; I wasn't there, after all . I just remember thinking Ron took the front biceps and lat poses, the side chest, rear biceps and most muscular, and Jay, abs, maybe lat spread and easily side tri.

In my opinion Ronnie’s downfall was his mis alignments of his vertebral discs, I don’t think his nerve signals, synapse and connection was there anymore . Obviously shown in his last then triceps mostly.  He held it down pretty well for as many injuries there was
