Manchester Bomber Wanted Revenge for US Airstrikes in Syria
Friends Say He Was Increasingly Angry About Treatment of Muslims
by Jason Ditz, May 25, 2017

Jomana Abedi, the sister of Manchester bomber Salman Abedi, expressed surprise at learning her brother had bombed an Ariana Grande concert, killing 22 people, and in quotes to the Wall Street Journal said she believes he was motivated by a desire for revenge over US airstrikes in Syria.

Other family friends suggested that an incident in May of last year, in which a friend of his, also a Libyan living in Britain, died after being hit by a car and stabbed, and that since then, he had grown increasingly angry about the way Muslims were being treated, and grow more religious.

HE WAS TROLLING.....

He was trolling the wrong fucking people. I'm glad he knew the Americans were coming that night to kill him , I hope he felt the impending doom that the victims of 9/11 felt.

Obama was a bust but the one thing that was worth his 8 years was he got that fuck !!

Absolutely. You can also say the bible condones killing people for any number of reasons. I don't want to get into
a theological debate, I'm not a fan of Christianity anyway, I disagree with it. But... Christianity is DEAD. Most Christians
don't take the bible literally anymore and they twist and turn the bible to fit any type of lifestyle they prefer.
Islam is a much more vital religion and most muslims will say not a letter in the Koran can be changed. Not to say many muslims don't live sinful lives according to their scriptures anyway but when pressed they will say what the Koran says is correct and can't be altered.

Take a Christian and insult his religion and nothing happens. Insult islam or Mohammed and the muslim's eyes will turn black with rage and you should be careful not to get physically attacked. Seen this many times personally.

Would you like me to attack you?   I promise I can cause a variety of damage.   8)

At least we have one prominent politician with the balls to tell the truth

"Jeremy Corbyn has taken the hugely controversial step of blaming Britain’s foreign wars for terror attacks such as the Manchester suicide bombing.

The Labour leader claimed a link between “wars our government has supported or fought in other countries and terrorism here at home”,"

Shame we never listened to former head of MI5 years ago.

"The former head of MI5 delivered a devastating critique of the invasion of Iraq today, saying it substantially increased the threat of terrorist attacks in Britain and was a significant factor behind the radicalisation of young Muslims in the UK.

Lady Eliza Manningham-Buller told the Chilcot inquiry into the UK's role in Iraq: "Our involvement in Iraq radicalised, for want of a better word, a whole generation of young people – not a whole generation, a few among a generation – who saw our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan as being an attack upon Islam."

Asked by Sir Roderic Lyne, a member of the inquiry, to what extent the conflict exacerbated the threat from international terrorism facing Britain, she replied: "Substantially."

I've seen muslims get asked things like this and them saying the question itself is islamophobic and refusing to answer.

Some good discussion on whether western foreign policy is responsible for terrorism in the west. Like someone said, does Isis kill Copts because of Iraq or Israel?

Foreign policy isn't the only thing to blame for these attacks but I think it can help act as a requirement tool for the Islamists since it gives them a legitimate grievance/cause. I'd imagine they'd have more difficulty winning support if they didn't have these grievances. Also, the Iraq invasion created a void which allowed these groups to grow and strengthen. Even now, you have Western governments trading with Wahhabists in Saudi Arabia and subtlety backing Islamist rebel groups in Syria.
ISIS appear to be purely ideologically driven and will target anyone who isn't a Sunni Muslim. However, it's unlikely they would have been able to develop in the first place had it not been for disastrous foreign interventions.

as Obama said in the earlier youtube video I posted, the rise of ISIS was a direct consequence of the invasion of Iraq.
ISIS would never have been able to take over towns and cities and grow in influence so hugely had "we" not taken down Saddam Hussein and backed and funded "rebels" to destabilise Syria.

whichever way we chop this up US led western foreign policy in the middle east is the biggest driver of islamic terrorism in the west. europe should have never got involved in US meddling and duplicity.

did the US help the UK when we were under attack from the IRA for decades? no they didn't, in fact a huge proportion of IRA funding actually came from the states. we have caused ourselves no end of problems.

I agree.

Isis wrote an article in Dabiq, their periodical, "Why we hate you". There's this comment:

"What’s important to understand here is that although some might argue that your foreign policies are the extent of what drives our hatred, this particular reason for hating you is secondary, hence the reason we addressed it at the end of the above list. The fact is, even if you were to stop bombing us, imprisoning us, torturing us, vilifying us, and usurping our lands, we would continue to hate you because our primary reason for hating you will not cease to exist until you embrace Islam"

Those people are, by and large, low IQ alpha-males without the innovation to create the kinds of civilization, architecture and culture that typify the West and East. They riot and murder over cartoons that defame their prophet; all they need is an excuse, and not always a good one.
