finished up my bulk and now it's time to diet down
« on: June 19, 2017, 04:19:13 AM »
when I was ripped my ab sskin fold was 4 mm, now it's 22 mm  :-X

been looking through protein intake articles and the grand concensus is to consume 1 to 1.4 grams of protein for lean bodyweight to preserve muscle

what's your fellas thoughts on that?

as i side note i read an article from the AJ website about Boyer Coe when he was training with AJ and he was only eating 1500 cals, and ray mentzer said he only ate bout 2500 cals while weighing 260  :o

Shouldn't a bulk for an ecto like you last for at least a year or 2 because the whole point in your case would be to get your body adjusted to holding more size in the first place

PS dont compare yourself to Ray Mentzer or Boyer Coe, you dont have their genetics and will never look like them no matter many drugs you take

I don't buy Iit that you have to stay heavier to keep it

too bad I'm full natty now, coz now would be the pperfect time to use tren ace

I'm even seeing some articles that purpose 2 grams per lean pound

fuck that's A LOT of protein,  especially since I won't take any protein supps as real food trumps the fuck outta pro supps

You don't buy it yet you have yet never broken the 200lbs barrier despite being on copious amounts of drugs on and off over the years. That is part of your problem, you know everything

question, curious as to how long you have been off juice now?

Not an insult but your genetics are on par with Curt James. Doesn't mean don't lift weights, just start being realistic FFS, at least he is.

1 g to 1.3 is perfect per lb of body weight.

I do 200 grams of protein a day and have gotten stronger and gained a bit of muscle in the process since upping my overall protein during my cut.  Currently the biggest and leanest I have ever been.

No idea why you would eat less than 2000 calories.  You could easily be in a deficit at 2500-2700 even.

This girl diets on 2300-2800 for instance.  Don`t be a moron.

Why would you need to go under 2500 unless you are just impatient? 1.3g per lb of body weight is high enough unless you just like eating protein, which I actually do depending on what I am making.

I've always been impatient

anyways I usually train twice a day every day so I think not going  to under 2500 will be needed

do you agree that it's best to get all the pro from real food?

IMHO real food trumps the fuck out of protein powder

I'll add in 3-4 cans of tuna per day and cut back on carbs and fat

I was eating chocolate cookies with coconut fat spread all over them to get a surplus of cals so now they gots to go

Your training is REALLY shitty for a natural to let you know.  You should only be training 3 days a week, 4 max.

40-60 reps total per bodypart each session, each body part twice a week.
Real food does not trump anything unless you feel that it does.  Its just personal preference.   Does not matter at all.
Why even bother with carbs or fat?  Get your protein and hit that caloric limit and the fats/carbs fall perfectly into place anyways.  Why bother monitoring?
Keep your cookies if you want, just hit your calories with them if you can.  Makes no difference.

Current Routine is this:

Monday:Bench Press-3 sets Reps=5, 6, 8   Reverse Pyramid first set Heaviest then reduce each by 10 percent in weight
           Dumbbell Shoulder Pres=5,6,8 Reverse Pyramid
Barbell Front Raise= 3 sets of 12- Add weight once all 12 reps can be completed with given weight.
Reverse Tricep Cable Pushdowns-3 Sets of 10- Add weight once all 10 reps are completed with given weight.

Wednesday: Squat-3 sets Reps=5, 6, 8   Reverse Pyramid first set Heaviest then reduce each by 10 percent in weight
Lying Leg Curl-3 sets of 12- Add weight once all 12 reps can be completed with given weight.
Barbell Row- 5, 6, 8   Reverse Pyramid first set Heaviest then reduce each by 10 percent in weight
Underhand Lat Pulldown- 3 sets of 12- Add weight once all 12 reps can be completed with given weight.
Barbell Bicep Curl- 3 Sets of 10- Add weight once all 10 reps are completed with given weight.
Friday:Repeat Monday

Then on the next Monday you will start with Squats and repeat the same M,W,F

Progression on the Reverse Pyramid sets are as follows: Only one set is moved up in weight each session.  For instance, 5,6,8 on your 8 rep set next session increase the weight. On the session after that, increase the weight on the 6 rep set. After that session, increase the weight on the 5 rep session. Repeat.

it would be impossible for me to train only 3-4 days per week

if I did that I'd probably go.back to the bottle (been sober now going on 5 year)

it's better to train everyday than to drink everyday

I train on a 3-way split chest/bi/back repeat

today I did bis 2 sets of preacher curl to failure and 2 sets of concentration curl til failure and that's the whole workout
