You obviously missed the Ali Shavers fight. Who hit harder Forman or Shavers? You obviously don't  know since you didn't even mention him. Not many people could come back after being hit by him but Ali did. Ali had a chin at least the one in this reality did.

Holyfield destroyed Tyson and I don't think Ali would have had much of a problem.

Lets be real here. Go watch re-play of the fight. Mayweather could have went at him and probably knocked him out in two rounds. He gave the people a show. Mayweather let it look like a decent fight. He did nothing in the first three rounds. Nothing. He just let the UFC/Conner fans have their 15 minutes of fame in a boxing ring. Mayweather could have literally punched Conner non stop from the ring of the first bell until he dropped. Which would have been in the 2nd round imop. That Mayweather fight sets up other "odd" PPV fights for other people down the road. If Mayweather went out swinging non stop from the first bell, it would shut down any "interest" in other non traditional fights like this...Everybody won in that fight last night. Many people really believe Conner had a chance in that fight. It was sham.

the reality is that at 40+ and being retired no smart man, would take 100+ punches if he could avoid it.

this needs an explanation. so far the only one available is - he did it on purpose, risking injuries, more hits to the head etc "for the fans".

he got punched straight in the jaw by an uppercut in the first round - on purpose "for the fans"
