I talked to someone in the military who went through transgender training.  One of the training scenarios involved a woman who wants to become a man, starts the process, but in the middle of the process decides to have a baby before completing the transition to a man.

That's pretty crazy and I'm against any group getting "special treatment".
Paying for operations and sensitivity training seems nutty.
I don't think the military should pay for shit and just treat everyone equal.

I can tell you that the most insane , surreal form of training in USMC boot camp had nothing to do with sex or gender.
It was during NBC ( nuke, chem, bio) weapons training.
I swear to GOD, the nuclear bomb training was as follows:

for survival"    You don't want to know how bad the gas chamber "qualification is/was. LOL

This issue is not about whether the actions of a few transgender people are twisted, it's about their right to serve in the military. If being "twisted" was the concern, there might not be anyone qualified to serve in the military.

I disagree.  Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, that scenario is twisted, particularly in the military environment. 

It has the potential to interfere with military readiness.  You have some person who, by choice, is surgically trying to change their gender in the middle of a war?  That's just craziness.  The military commanders likely uniformly advised Trump to stop this, something they couldn't accomplish with Obama.  Thank God Obama is now a private citizen.

I know many people that have been refused by the military based on, weight, acne, sweating, age. Do you understand? Now, going through a sex change to become the opposite sex is a MEDICAL CONDITION.
How those hormones will act in your body, the way they are adjusting are always be a concern.
What you want it an equal outcome and that doesn't exist. With the high suicide rate among transgender people 10 years...yes 10 years after surgery, I believe these people couldn't handle the pressure and intensity of being in the military.
