Have you seen recent pictures of Cyborg? She is juiced to the gills and her opponent looks like a girl. Read the UFC is letting her take testosterone for medicinal purposes as reported in the NY Post. WTF?

She was on UFC tonight and was bigger than Woodley. No way she's Natty.

It's already been rumoured and is the only non-mcgregor big money fight the ufc can make at the moment. Nobody on their roster other than conor has the pulling power to bring in the millions the new owners need to not slip into bankruptcy, HW is dead, LHW after tomorrow night is dead, now Lesnar vs Jones could bring the big ppv buys. I think they are counting on GSPs comeback drawing big numbers but I think he hasn't been worth watching in about 8years.

Spot on analysis. Looks like the new owners overpaid big time.

Brilliant job of marketing and self-promotion by Conor. That said, why would he ever fight again in the UFC after this? Not a lot of incentive to get punched in the face when you have nine figures in the bank.

The question is whether or not the new owners have overpaid and what does the future look like for the UFC. Sure they could still be a viable company but on a much smaller scale. IMO, with a rare exception, the days of million buy PPVs are over.

Cmon dude "juiced to the gills"? Is expect somebody like you to know better and not use cliches like that something you expect out of somebody who's never used anabolics.

Why spreads ignorant comments like the "UFC is letting her use testosterone". Really? Because men cantneven use testosterone even with a therapeutic-use exemption due to a medical need. At most she's allowed to use spironolactone, which is used (for her) as an anti-dht/Anti-androgen.

People are hoping for a Lesnar vs. Jones fight?...... ::)  Lesnar was always a manufactured champion from the beginning. He is one of the UFC's fall guys, meaning he will be willing to throw a match for the right price. It doesn't hurt the fact that he wasn't that talented an MMA fighter to begin with, so he actually flies under the radar. That comeback fight Lesnar had with Hunt was atrocious. You could easily tell that Hunt held back from throwing power punches the entire fight.

I wouldn't trust a single fight going forward, unless a fighter is knocked stiff. MMA is morphing into wrestling, and you better believe that they will fix the outcomes to generate the most profit and the most hype-worthy matches.

Diuretics can also be used to mask the presence of performance-enhancing drugs. She has tested positive for that. Spironolactone can also be used for high blood pressure. UFC gave her an exemption for the drug. Athletes can claim high blood pressure to use it to mask steroid use. If you say she is clean then she must be clean. I just say compare her muscles to another woman in the same weight class. Maybe she just trains hard and takes creatine. I will add. I could be wrong.

At least twice in the past few days, Jon Jones stated that he wants to fight Brock Lesnar

Brock later said: "any time and any place"

My point made. It's a money setup. The outcome fixed.

When all is said and done there be more than that, as I guarantee you there will be a rematch.   They only reason they both agreed on the fight is that there would be two massive paydays coming to the fighters, not just the one.  Whoever wins the first fight will lose in the rematch, making the whole thing a draw, preserving both egos.  It's all a work.  It's all business.

They created a whole division for her and gave her an automatic title shot. They let her fight her two fights so far in the UFC at a made-up weight (140) she was comfortable at. She's popped three times for anabolics, twice while being a ufc employee. Like all gypsy Brazilians she lies and bad mouths the ufc in literally every interview. But as I said already, with no conor theres very very few fighters people will buy ppv to see. Nunes? That deformed black midget might mouse? Garbrandt? Holloway? Woodley? Bisping? Cormier? Miocic? They are the Champs of all divisions and u they are all about as interesting as a jay cutler conversion. Cyborg brings the freak factor and I have zero doubt that corrupt gypsy Brazilian authorities let her cheat, just like they did with aldo

So you're saying that Hunt threw the fight with Lesnar (ie didn't throw any power punches) but then after the fight decided to sue Lesnar, the UFC and Dana White individually because Lesnar failed a drug test? Doesn't sound like the actions of a man who took a dive does it genius??

I know you think you sounded intelligent with this bullshit insider conspiracy theory...but you actually outed yourself as an idiot.

Well said.

Hunt lost all sanity after that loss. Hunt is probably still cursing when he goes to bed at night, and when he gets up in the morning. He really lost it after UFC 200

Looks like Rogan and Cruz are having a little pissing war during the prelims:

"I love the way that Dominic Cruz is not responding to Joe Rogan's hyperbolic statements

Whenever Joe makes a dumb statement, Dominic should respond with "yeah, just like Ronda is a once ever athlete who would beat half of the men's 135lb division, right fuckhead?"

Or when Joe Rogan was going off about the 12-6 elbows for a good rant and Dom finally just says, "Could you stop talking about it?"

rogan isnt really meant for commentating he is meant for smoking weed and going off on rants. thats why his highlight is bitching about some spilled water in the cage.

Sounds like they are really butting heads, and UFC needs to make a call on this one. No more Dom and Joe together..

Dominick seems like the type of guy to try to bust peoples' balls every chance he gets. There's a strong competitive subtext between him and Joe in the commentary.

It's obvious that Dom and Joe don't like each other

I think Cruz is just a contrarian and Joe Rogan likes to be validated. But Cruz is not Brendan Schaub or Mike Goldberg, he is not going to validate your opinion if he doesn't agree with it.

Joe and Dom have no chemistry

Dom is fucking ruining this event. This agitation and irritation that Dom brings to the broadcast just sucks the fun out of the event. Hey DOM, this isn't a fucking final exam on MMA. It is a fight event. Why are you trying to rip apart everything Joe says like you a professor with a red pen? It sucks. Dom just isn't fun. He sounds like a fucking prick who can't enjoy anything.

Cruz is the expert, and he is letting Joe Rogan know that "gym bros" knowledge is not the best information.

When Joe Rogan stated that "training with weaker opponents helps you perfect your skills," Cruz didn't even bother to give a follow-up comment, because as the professional fighter training with the best, he probably thought to himself "this guy is talking out of his ass.""

"Dom put Rogan in his place. Dom teaching Rogan how to commentate. Literally taking the limelight from these guys. UFC needs to fire Rogan too.

Rogan was talking about 12-6 elbows are illegal because people saw people breaking bricks with their elbows back in the day and says it's literally the reason...

Dom cuts him off at the end and goes 'will you shut up about that? it ruins the legitimacy of the sport' or something of that nature. Dom was dead serious too lol

Thank God..... Joe, stfu about the 12 to 6 elbow history lesson.

That was bizarre. Cruz not jokingly just told him to shut up about it

Haha, I heard that! Risky move, though, if Dom wants to keep that gig.

As Rogan and Dom continue to step on each other's toes. Fuck all this shit, long live Goldie, as fucking goofy as he was I miss him on nights like this."

Rogan is a good commentator for someone watching their first ufc event. I like Bas Rutten and Mike Schievello. I dunno man, Cruz's monotone voice doesn't adapt to extreme violence in the cage. Not that there's been any yet tonight, but we've yet to see Lawlor, cyborg, or dirty black burglar Manuwa fight yet
