Do Asian people in America lack manners?

So I was hired to put crown molding through out the first floor of a condo in Weston ma,one of the richest towns in the USA.It was a young Asian couple mid 20s,probably two of the nicest people I have ever met,offered me drinks and food constantly and even gave me a good tip when finished.Problem came second day in,I was working I. The living room next to kitchen and they were eating breakfast and they both chew with their mouths open very loud,then they each start burping this is all 5' from me and th plain view.Then I here farting and it's the wife and she is just laughing.I was pretty disgusted but didn't say anything as they were paying a pretty penny for the work.

I have never seen this behavior before and was wondering if just them or if this is common place in Asian people?

Asians are usually super nice and very respectful.  They probably would haven't done that if they knew you didn't appreciate it.  It is no surprise that Asians for the most part commit very little crime and don't bring down property values.

Depends on the Asians. I find the ones that have been here a couple of generations to be very well mannered, almost courtly. The ones that are fresh off the boat, tend to be a bit lacking. They can be a bit pushy, and sometimes a bit easy going in terms of hygiene. Things like littering, spitting, etc..... don't seem to be frowned upon as much.

My friend that is Chinese attributes this to the fast paced life style in many of those countries, they just don't consider it that big a deal.

Different cultures have their own rules of etiquette/manners.  What is unacceptable in American culture may be perfectly acceptable in others and visa versa.

I think it's great that it's cool in their culture to just rip ass in front of eachother, beats holding in a fart all night just so no one makes fun of you or judges you.  Good times!

I'm half Asian.  First-generation born here. My dad escaped Communist China and came here and worked for everything.  Yes he came here legally. He came here on a college visa and took a test eventually for his citizenship. Was sponsored by some family. Anyway I can't stand when Asians chew with their mouth open. Smacking their lips. It's disgusting. Funny thing is my dad never did this. He had extremely good manners.

if they are in their 20's... probably just them... i fart in front of people all the time..i dont care...i used to be so shy when i was younger..guess that shyness wore off.  i remember delivering exercise equipment to an Asian couple(not American but were foreign). their home was so fuking hot i was dripping in sweat bringing their treadmill to the second floor with my fellow employee.. we were in disbelief how they were comfortable in this heat...almost passed out... it was in Texas during summer time... Asians have always been respectful, so dont think im ragging on them...they just have a high tolerance for heat...when i was 16yrs old i worked at a dry cleaning place that were run and operated by Asians and the place was so damn hot i quit.

In Asian countries it's not considered bad manners to burp or slurp your soup.  It indicates you're enjoying what you're eating.

They also like to cough, snort and spit. Asians can be annoying but overall they are a good race.

I love Asians..law abiding..family oriented..contribute to society in a positive way..they are discriminated the most besides whites get Into medical scbool...just observed they can take texas heat with ease

Not all Asians are the same. The Chinese are disgusting people (not all) with a disgusting culture and a disgusting sounding language. Japanese, on the other hand, in general, are about as ideal as humans can be. Of course, we had to completely destroy them and rebuild their society and write their Constitution and completely transformed them from a war like modern day Sparta into a productive well mannered and polite society.
