It's good he's getting antibiotics and they should be re checking his heart for a recurrence of endocarditis based on his history/chest pain. Infection in the bloodstream can cause endocarditis when the endocardium becomes inflamed (that causes valve issues). It's worth noting needless create a major pathway along with STD's.
