Both Dallas and Rich died doing what they loved the most; eating chicken breast and snorring coke.

No testing.  I don't even want testing at the Olympics, etc.  I believe in the ultimate choice and freedom of the individual to do what they want - even if it leads to their ruin - as long as it doesn't affect/hurt anyone else.

I am (mostly) no hypocrite , and I've done my share of bad things, but they were my choice and mine alone to make.  And I did these things not to make a living even, just for my own pleasure.  Some of them could very well have hurt/killed me.  No regrets.  Maybe my survival was as much luck as judgement, but I also chose when to stop and be (vaguely) normal.  Again, no regrets.  A man should control his own destiny, and if he wants to do something dangerous, it is nobody else's business.  Maybe his family are entitled to share their opinions as they genuinely care, but society/government/WADA/everyone else should butt out.

Just my 3cc's

Has the court of GetBig issued a final judgement on the mortis causa yet?

I'm going to stake my colors to the mast here and go with massive heart attack.

I think the insulin thing - although it can kill - is a red herring.  I'm about the height Mr McC was (6' 1") and the idea of just walking around at approaching 24 stones (UK) blows my mind - let alone pushing the sort of weights he was using!  :o.   There may even have been a genetic propensity towards cardiomyopathy, who knows?

The description someone else left in this thread about the presentation of someone if you found them after such an episode, and how it could be confused with "chocking" was the clincher for me.

Unfamiliar with US law as I am, others have commented that the actual cause will be published, correct?  So anyone else care to cast judgement, as somebody has to be right?

I'm going with the insulin theory

It seems like you are slamming a dead guy for a 'Go Fund Me' that he had nothing to do with. If you are ragging on Aaron Singerman's motives, I have no argument with you because I can't possible know what they are.

Don't fall for it if any of my relatives should put up a Go-Fund-Me page when I die. If they do, which they won't,  then you shouldn't fall for it (and most likely wouldn't anyway).

My cremation is paid for. I've requested no services be held. My kids are financially secure adults. Nobody who is close to me needs to or should profit from my death.

My thinking is that when you die, you become a memory and fertilizer for the living. It matters not who you are or who you think you are, because in the end, your physical self is just a little dust.
Why dont you donate your kidneys to the Dialysis Olympia Division, before being cremated? I am sure they will be in better shape than the ones of most pro's.

Guys who are ragging about a charity set up yet will never donate anyways.

Never understood people who actually think their complaining means shit when they are not even part of the problem/solution.

Its like ranting at a politician you hate publicly and will never vote for, like they give a fuck what their haters think in the end.

Example I am sure for 8 years Obama has not given one fuck about the people who will never vote for him anyways cursing him, much like the Trump haters today and the haters of whomever is president in 2020.

Point is you just cant win with everyone so fuck any detractors opinions, they just dont matter
look at you here-like a spoiled pompous little brat-you haven't a clue what you're trying to talk about-you've been acting like you're the elected speaker of this board-thinking what u stupidly think is what everyone is thinking
Don't u reside on the politics board or something go back to your hole dumb fuck

no apparently now Dallas mccarver dedicated his life to kids charity
Even though he never once mentioned kids charity when he was alive-now just because aaron the ex junkie singerman said so-everyone is giving him money
Dallas never spent a second while he was alive talking about kids charity but now we're told it was his passion

Please God, tell me it was not a microwaved chicken breast.  Although I ate many of those as a young man, knowing he died choking on a hastily prepared rubber breast would  be more tragedy than I could bear at this point (what with Piana and all)

thank god at least 1 person on here isn't a sheep that will do anything just because someone in the media said so
Oh don't worry bro! He said it's a charity so it's real! They made a video about it! Other people donated money so it's ok!
Just forget singerman has been caught before lying about product formulations and the details of Dallas death! But don't worry-Aaron wouldn't scam anyone! He's a swell guy!

This whole episode reminds me of a thread on MD from two years ago.   IFBB Pro Dominick Cardone's family was apparently the victim of a fire so a gofundme was started to generate funds to help the family rebuild.  The initial fundraising goal was $20k.  When they came close to raising that, the goal was raised to $30k... then to $50k... and higher!

When people asked 1) why the family wasn't turning to their insurance company or 2) why the fundraising goal kept going up or 3) what the money would be used for we were alternately told to STFU and that it was "none of your business"!

Cardone even joined the thread argue with some of the posters.  The guy who started the thread even threatened some of the posters for daring to ask obvious questions.  He would later delete his threats.  :-X

You can't make this shit up!  The thread is still there and worth a read.

That's not single payer, that's catastrophic coverage.  Two different kinds of welfare, get it straight

So many contests will be dropped out at the last second and that action justified by saying, "I had DMRBS (Dallas McCarver Rubber Breast Syndrome)".  The NPC and IFBB will announce a world-wide "GoFuckMe" campaign to combat this contest prepping unnatural disaster.

I'm with you brother.  DMRBS is the biggest threat to Thongolians since Bay's brave attempt to resurrect real posing trunks.  The Schmomalian Council on Striated Glutes worked overtime to stop that noble effort.  Oh, the hugeManity!  Let's make certain Dulles didn't OD on rubber chicken breasts in vain!

I'm going with the insulin theory

Intredasting... you see I don't think there was 'food' in his throat, if you listen to the 911 it sounds like it was emulsified blood and liquid like you'd get from a sudden acute cardiac infarction.  And if the lungs were full then CPR efforts would feel like they were being blocked by something.

So while thinking on his feet in panic mode, Josh was hardly likely to think a young fella like Dallas had had a cardiac episode, so he's thinking quickly and comes up with the fact that just before he left Dallas was preparing a shot of insulin, puts 2 and 2 together and comes up with 3...

Anyone have any idea when the official verdict might come to light...?

Werent you just crying over acre88 taking $50 from you?

Gene is right in his assessment of the situation.

Kudos to Arron and Dana for starting a foundation but don't be shocked that people aren't all in on it.

Shouldn't they be concerned with funeral arrangements and his will and estate right now?
He wasn't buried yet before the foundation was formed? Correct or no?

Looks like Dallas come from a wealthy family , remember when Bostin said a couple years ago that his mother paid his gear?

Its money for Aaron legal fees and eventual losses

So I looked back through his IG
Not a single post about children's charity-yet singerman claims it was his life's passion?

And to all you folks that have donated money-why not just donate to the hospital itself? Why do U have to go through singerman?

Correct.  He wasn't dead 24 hours before the "Foundation" was formed and started soliciting donations for "needy kids." ::)

This is how a legitimate foundation starts:

Notice a few weeks have passed.  The decedent has been buried and people have had a chance to mourn.  Notice that there is a relationship between the decedent and the cause the foundation purports to support.  Notice that the people behind the newly formed foundation are not tainted by shady past dealings in a shady industry like professional bodybuilding. ::)

In creating a social justice foundation, the mother of Heather D. Heyer said she wanted the country to learn a lesson she had taught her daughter: Disputes can be de-escalated before they become violent.

Foundation Started by Charlottesville Victim’s Mother Promotes Social Justice
By YAMICHE ALCINDOR

In sixth grade, Heather D. Heyer, the woman killed during the recent unrest in Charlottesville, Va., got into a heated dispute with a classmate who challenged her to a fight after school.

Ms. Heyer’s mother, Susan Bro, said in an interview on Friday that her daughter turned to her for advice, and that she transformed the confrontation into a teachable moment.

“She said: ‘Mom, I’m not a fighter. What am I going to do?’” Ms. Bro recalled. “And I said, ‘You know, you talked your way into this, you need to go talk your way out of this.’ And she and the girl later became fast and hard friends for a number of years.”

Now, through a foundation bearing her daughter’s name, Ms. Bro wants the country to learn the same lesson she taught her daughter: Disputes that careen toward violence can be de-escalated by communicating in a peaceful tone, not compromising personal values and, sometimes, agreeing to disagree.

“We want to see more of that happen and have people recognize that you don’t have to respond in violence. You don’t have to respond in hate,” said Ms. Bro, 60. “If you see something that is making you unhappy, then speak up about it."

Ms. Bro has started the Heather Heyer Foundation in honor of Ms. Heyer, a 32-year-old paralegal who was killed as a driver rammed his car into a crowd protesting against a rally attended by white supremacists, neo-Nazis and Ku Klux Klan members. While she had previously said that she was working on a foundation, it is now active, and she spoke publicly in detail about its goals for the first time . . .
