The reality is most of the education infrastructure has been rendered obsolete due to online learning and distance-learning. There are much more efficient ways to learn most subjects. The ones that require infrastructure ar generally hands-on things like engineering, and the hard sciences.
I'll go with that. The intellectual elitism once associated with these places is offensive anyway. And, given the quality of their product these days, awful tough to carry off.
