The legends are dying off!
This is where it's better to be Vince - and now Shane - McMahon. Vince gets to enjoy participation in everything that the WWE has to offer, but he doesn't indulge in the unsavoury aspects of the industry to the same extent. I would assume he uses TRT, but doesn't need to cycle as heavily as some of the top guys, for example. It would probably be hard not to indulge while being completely immersed in the work and party life of the WWE, but I think Vince is 71 now, and looking great for his age. I am guessing that at this point, Shane will gradually take over.
There is a good documentary about wrestling on Netflix, which shows the amazing growth of the WWE, which was the WWF at the time [1999], before the World Wildlife Fund sued them. In it, Vince was 53, and Shane was 29, and it was cool to think that the WWE was really just a family-owned business, at least to begin with. You can really see in the movie how hard the world of professional wrestling is on its participants.
The movie is called "Beyond the Mat", and is on the Canadian Netflix if anyone is interested. I'm assuming that since the American Netflix is so much better, that it would be on the American version too.
