Shawn I got a photo with you at the olympia expo in 2010.
At the time I got a half chubb (no homo)
I did not have a parsh while meeting Shawn in 2007.

That said, in 2001 when I saw Shawn on what was one of his very last covers at the time in Muscle & Fitness [picture attached], I almost got one. I was like "Look at this hunka man."

[No, but seriously - I was like "Dayum, some guys have all the luck, genetics-wise.]
Shawn you are the best 212 bodybuilder of all time GOAT! Just my personal opinion
Conditioning, Symmetry, Balance, Poseing you had it all. (VACCUM)
Flex Lewis, Jose Raymond, Hadi Choopan... LOL 1992-1996 (1994 Mr. O) would wipe anyone off the stage
These guys got nothing on you...tell em all to enter the open.
Yes, he would win for sure. As great as Flex Lewis is, just do a side-by-side comparison with Shawn, and you can see that Shawn wins pretty easily. Shawn also narrowly did indeed make the 212 class, as his heaviest competition weight was 217 I think, and he routinely came in under 215. At the time, I would always wonder why Shawn didn't pack on more muscle, but looking back, I think it's pretty clear that he thought bodybuilding was about more than sheer size, and also considered his health to be a priority. Nasser El Sonbaty was one of Shawn's biggest critiques, physique-wise [or vice versa], and...well...

So yes, Shawn would be the 212 GOAT. He doesn't beat Flex on size and muscularity, but the superiority in conditioning would have him crowned champ I think. The disparity in conditioning would be too evident. At least that is my opinion.
What year and contest did I take these pictures of you... and which Olympia did you think you were at your all time best...

2001.

Shawn's final Mr. Olympia, final bodybuilding contest, period, and also a shot taken around the same time as the photo of Shawn on the Muscle & Fitness cover below, which almost gave me a semi at one of the Thunder Bay Wal-Mart stores.
