If you can pass the background checks, pay the fees, wait the time and afford the piece of equipment, then sure, own it all you want.

Why is the second amendment up for debate at every state level? I always thought federal law > state/local law.

It's supposed to be but there seems to be no push back on these states and their unconstitutional laws.
