DJ. I love your dog and would get one just like it but I have the habit of saving strays before they are terminated and have yet to find a good looking dog such as yours.
But I did save the original Benji's life once upon a time ... but that's too long of a story for this here GetBig Board.
THE WEIGHT .... Your transformation is way beyond any other physical achievement I've ever seen!!! Congrats to ya!!!!!
Did your story ever get any national coverage?
Thanks man! As a result, I was featured on the news and in commercials for the surgeon who did the gastric bypass back in 2007. But after 10 years of being post-op, although I work with clients everyday who are WLS patients, I don't feel it is an appropriate means to an end for 90% of people that have it. A lot of people see it as a 'quick-fix' or the 'end all, be all' of weight loss, which couldn't be further from the truth. It takes consistency and dedication to really transform yourself. They can do all types of surgery on your stomach, but they can't do it on your brain. I've seen countless people have all types of invasive surgeries and not lose a single pound (which still baffles me to this day!)
I have a website that I offer training and nutrition programs on (I'm a NASM Certified Weight Loss Specialist and CPT, CSN, though I realize that means absolutely NOTHING these days and literally anyone can be branded a "prep coach/guru") and I started a small supplement brand recently. So although I haven't really used it as a means to get notoriety or national coverage, it has definitely allowed me to do what I love to do and help others.
The bottom line is, (as cliche as it sounds) ANYONE can do ANYTHING. I always hated people that said, "oh, just believe in yourself and sky's the limit" and crap...but that's actually true. If you truly want to do something, you can. You just have to be dedicated as hell and turn it into a passion..the rest will fall in line! (talk to me in 10 years when i'm back up to 500lbs lol)
