Is this the same BLM thats being considered made a terrorist organization? As far as your Christian analogy goes. Most will stand for the anthem no matter what.
The United States Constitution protects a citizen's right to do as they please during the National Anthem.

You're right and again as corporations they have the right to fire, suspend or fine or both. How many times do we have to go over this?

Spot on.

And, the NFL doesn't have any rules forbidding them to kneel.

The NFL needs to step up and put the rule in the players code of conduct. But the NFL doesn't want to step on the players toes. The NFL should be less worried about players response, as they will play no matter what as long as they get paid. The NFL should be more concerned with the fans reactions.

Can you produce an employee's handbook that states standing for the national anthem is required?

We have already been through this. There is no requirement. The language is vague,

Let me see if I can get you to understand, clearly you and the boy genius SF1900 are trying to skate facts.

If I, as a corporation, LLC, Sole Proprietor, etc knowingly incites controversy to my business that causes financial damage, I have the right to fire them just like they have the right to "protest".

Says players SHOULD do certain things. First player that gets fined or fired is going to get rich in court

I have no problem with the NFL mandating  players to stand. Their a private organization. But it really should be made explicit in order to avoid any pitfalls.

They won't mandate it. Society has progressed. There's no going back to the coach's "good old days" of society being structured around the white male, while all other groups exist as second class citizens.

While the NFL may have the right to fire any NFL player who causes financial damage to the organization, it is still a moot point.

The NFL has already stated that they support players right to kneel and won't take action. Now, whether or not individual coaches will sideline a player is another story. But sidelining a player is not necessarily firing a player from the organization as a whole.

Again, the NFL may have the right to fire a player for kneeling, but the NFL is actually taking the OPPOSITE actions-its SUPPORTING the players!

Society hasn't progressed. It is in a state of regression.
And yes, still other people are second class citizens. And yes, this is still a society structured around the white male. Why do you think all the collective whining (in totality, not just the police brutality issue) is about? It's about wanting, desiring, and needing attention from white people (men AND women).

NFL owners to consider rule change that would require players to stand for national anthem: Report

The owners of the NFL are reportedly considering a rule change that would make it mandatory for players to stand during the national anthem.

A league spokesman said that the owners would discuss the potential change during a meeting next week, Dow Jones reported...

In September, the president renewed discussion about the protests when he urged owners to "fire" the "son of a bitch" who kneels during the anthem.

I don't give a fuck about BLM. I just view them as another organization funded by Marxists which uses non-whites as foot soldiers.
However, my point still stands. If a group of deeply Christian players decided to kneel for the US anthem because they didn't like the secular route America was heading towards, I have a feeling that you would more accepting of their ""right to protest".

Disgraceful so many  have died, for them to live their privileged lives, they should find another way to protest where it doesn't disrespect the fallen by disrespecting their anthem or flag, absolutely disgusting.

I suppose if you want to pretend the protest is about those who died.. it's an outrage.. but it's not so...

I get the idea that people like Coach are more offended by the cause (BLM) then by the actual protest.

For instance, if a group of Christian players refused to stand for the anthem after the US legalized gay marriage, what would the reaction be?
I'm sure that many of the same people who are furious with Kaepernick would be defending those players. Meanwhile, many of those defending Kaepernick would be furious with those players.
